"Little Bruder!" Gilbert yelled as he walking into the small house. "Pack your bags! we are leaving in five minutes!"
"Okay!" yelled the young Ludwig. "But, I don't wanna leave my home…" He shook his head, and walked over to his barley empty closet. He pulled out a small satchel, and only placed an 3 outfits, a pair of shoes, his cross charm, a notebook, and a small stuffed dog. Ludwig walked out of his room and went down the small creaky stairs.
"Big Bruder, I am all packed." He said softly to Gilbert. "Good! Now c'mon, we must hurry before they leave." Gilbert took ahold of his younger brothers hand and pulled him out of the run down house.
Gilbert and Ludwig scurried down the not so busy street. Gilbert suddenly stopped and looked around. "Ah, there it is!" He grinned as he pulled his dear brother down the street.
"Big Bruder, vhere are ve going?" Ludwig asked.
"Somewhere better than here." Gilbert gave ludwig an assuring smile making Ludwig feel more secure.
Ludwig jumped up from his bed looking out of his window at the night sky. He sighed, staring at the full moon. "I miss you, Big Bruder…" He whispered to himself, tears springing his eyes.
Gilbert had past about a year ago to a unknown disease. Ludwig's heart has been broken ever since. Gilbert was his only family, after the war. He lost his Grandfather, for as he was serving as a Nazi that never wanted to serve.
Ludwig laid onto his side and cried himself back to sleep.
Hey, Blondie wake up! the master is in 'one of his moods.' so you gotta get up fast or he'll come for ya." the man walked away as Ludwig rolled out of bed. "Da…" he slurred tiredly
