A/N: Well my game said it was a good date spot. I have HeartGold, and no, I am not giving my friend code if that was what you were going to ask. Not much else to say but enjoy!
Summary: It was the spot where their last date was going to take place.

"Gold, where are you taking me?"
A young 18-year-old brunette was being pulled along by her boyfriend, Gold to the famed Cerulean Cape. He seemed quite nervous, but excited at the same time.
"I'm taking you to Cerulean Cape, the famous date spot." he said simply. The two had been dating for around 5 years.
"Oh, that spot where couples go? What was so bad about the Tauros fighting rodeo? And plus, it was my turn to choose!" Sapphire complained, albeit a hint of excitement in her voice.
"Well, nothing was wrong with the rodeo... but today, its different." Gold said, squeezing her hand tightly. The two continued onto the slight incline, sitting on the stone bench, facing the setting sun without another word. They sat in silence for 10 minutes admiring the setting sun, until Sapphire broke the ice.
"So Gold... what's so different about today?" Sapphire asked.
"Sapphire... I'll answer that later." he said, no emotion in his voice.
"Uhm...okay then..." Sapphire replied awkwardly.
'Something's wrong... Gold's not usually this sullen...' she thought.
"Gold, what's wrong? Something's wrong. Don't deny it." Sapphire said, crossing her arms.
"Sapphire...this is where our last date is gonna be." he said, head hung. Her eyes widened in realization, tears also brimming them.
"Hm. Okay, okay. This is not how I expected it to go." Sapphire replied, voice high and squeaky.
"One question - why now? We've dated for 5 years. And why do you decide to break up with me now?" she asked, standing up, staring out into the sunset.
"What do you mean 'break up with you'? I never said that."
She began walking away, tears rolling down her cheeks. "You said here would be our last date. Why?"
The brunette felt him grab her hand, spinning her around. Gold forced her to face him, holding her face in his hands.
"I knew you wouldn't get it. When I said here would be our last date..." but she wouldn't let him finish.
"I get it, Gold. You don't need to explain anything!" she said, ripping away from him.
"Sapphire, if you understood, you wouldn't be running away right now!" Gold shouted, running after her. Unfortunately, she ran too fast, Gold resorting to his skateboard. He picked her up as he rolled by her, catching her extra load caused him to topple over backwards, Sapphire landing on Gold.
"Sapphire...that's the thing about you...you never give me enough time to explain. Like that time when I ate your Berry Cookies." Gold huffed.
"Well then start, because right now I'm in the perfect position to punch you in the face." she said, rubbing the sadness out of her eyes.
"Stupid Emerald...that's the last time I ever ask him for advice. He thought that you would get that. Sapphire, when I said it was gonna be our last date, I just meant that it would be because we'd be too busy planning the marriage." Gold said, sitting up. Sapphire opened her mouth to say something, but soon slapped her hands in realization.
"Y-you mean...?" Gold nodded. The brunette tackled him in a hug, crying even more. He hugged her back, patting her head.
"So, Sapphire, basically, what I'm trying to ask you is-" but he was cut off.
"Do you really have to ask that? I'd be insane if I said no!" she replied, letting him go. Gold quickly pulled out a velvet box, revealing a gorgeous gold ring with 3 sapphire stones in the middle. He slipped it onto his fiancee's ring finger, earning another hug.
"But Gold, I have another question."
"Shoot."
"Why the hell did you take advice from Emerald?"
"...He was my last resort."
