"I've never been to Disneyland."

Kate took a drink.

"Well, that's just sad."

Though her brain was getting fuzzy from the alcohol, Kate knew the question would come up. Or, at least some sort of question relating to her past. But, should she be honest? It was as if there was a debate club in her head, thinking of the cons and pros of telling Sawyer the truth. True, he had his own share of roughness in his past, but Kate doubted it was anything like hers.

A few 'truths' later, a devious grin crossed Sawyer's face.

"I've never killed a man."

Kate's fingers gripped the neck of the small bottle tightly. It hovered near her chest. Sawyer made no move to drink, he simply watched. Almost doubting that she had killed a man, despite what he knew about her.

After what seemed like an eternity, she lifted the small bottle to her lips and took a small sip. Staring at him the entire time. A knowing half smile replaced Sawyer's grin, and he too took a drink, much larger than hers however.

For a while, they didn't say anything, just sat, the only noise being the crackling of the fire. What was there to say? No truth could top confessing to murdering a human being.

Thoughts raced through her head. Who had Sawyer killed? Had it been the man that destroyed his family? Was that why he had been in Australia? To commit murder? Her brow furrowed slightly as she started into the fire, not realizing that Sawyer was watching her every move. Watching her think and he knew. He knew exactly what was going through her mind; it was the same thing he was thinking about.

More silence. Sawyer hated silence. He had to break it.

"I've never worn pink."

A grin crossed Kate's faced as she looked up from the fire. Never, in her life had she worn pink. Always the tomboy. She set her small bottle of vodka on the ground, grinning widely.

"You're kidding?" Sawyer muttered as he took a sip from the bottle.

Kate's eyebrow arched, obviously wanting an explanation.

"It was the 80's. Everybody wore pink." His voice firm, putting a clear end to any more discussion on the topic.

Kate raised her hands slightly, in an 'Okay, okay…' gesture. A smile crossed her face as she thought of her next statement.

"I've never been in love." She waited for Sawyer's response, ready to crack some joke about who she had been. His response never came; all that she saw was a defiant grin on his face. She quickly took a sip before saying, "You've never been in love?"
"Never."
"Yeah right..." She muttered, mainly to herself.

She was quickly getting bored of this game. But though how much fun it would be to play with Jack. Or Locke.

Her bottled now drained, she handed it back to him.

"I'm going to sleep." She said no more, simply turned, her back toward him, her head on her bag.

"Night freckles."
