She stood on the platform, a scowl on her face. Her companions sighed.
'She really doesn't want to do this does she?'
'Nope. Course it could be a combined thing from her depression.'
'True. The thing is she'll be pissed when she finds out we lied to her.'
'She'll probably read your mind before she gets on the train, just to get extra details.'
'That's the point, she'll be sleeping. Crawford got a vision of her going on a rampage if she found out.'
'So that's why you've been keeping her up these past two days.'
'Right. She'll sleep on the train and never know until we tell her once she's at school.'
'Hey! Gentlemen quit yapping! Where the fuck is the damn platform?!'
"Katzchen, there's no need to shout. I can hear you just fine."
"I don't care."
Her companions exchanged glances. They had been standing there for ten minutes, trying to find the platform. She was changed position so that her weight was balanced on the left. She waited, checking occasionally for information. She was thrilled to find reliable sources at last and a boy who was as clueless as she was. The boy had wild black hair and a weird mark on his head. She shrugged and followed him through the wall. She'd eavesdropped on the conversation he'd had with a family of red heads.
'Katzchen, just do us a favor and remember, you're Aya Hidaka now. You can't blow your cover.'
'I just wanna know how you figured out that the target'll be there in seven years. Much less why I'm going now. Can't I just call myself a transfer student and be done with it?'
"No. Now get on the train."
She scowled and turned to board the train. The two followed close behind as she walked towards the stairs.
"Tanoshimu Katzchen. Let us know how everything goes ok?"
"Wakatta. Dewa! I'll miss you guys," she told them as she grabbed the red heads in a giant embrace.
"Let…go…can't…breathe…."
"Gomen nasai!" she shouted as she let them go.
"Ja ne!"
The two watched as she boarded the train. She went back a few cars and settled into a seat. She noted the lone occupant in the compartment before she fell asleep.

On the platform the two men stood and watched as the train chugged out of the station. Schuldig grasped his lover's hand as he felt the young girl's mind drift.
"She'll be fine Ran."
"I know. She can take care of herself and she's careful about making sure she hides after the spell drops the form. It's just, I'm hoping this is for the best. She was so depressed."
"That's why we gave her the fake mission. She'll have fun. She might even find something to keep her occupied while she's there."
"I guess so."
"Come on Ran."
'I'm so sorry we had to deceive you…Ara.'
