Eureka 7 + Hellsing: Ultimate
A/N: During my time away from my precious computer, I have come up with many ideas (specifically crossovers) in a short time span, and because I think I could turn them into decent stories (you know, for being crossovers), I'm going to upload these short, one notebook page-length premises. If you like the premise, please tell me, and there'll be more where that came from.
"Oh yes, we're going to take care of your little...problem. No, no, we're professionals. Yes, we'll be sure to call you when it's done. 'Till then, lose my number, human." His teeth clicked when he talked, and his gloved hands were tapping a joke in the instrument pan of the cockpit.
I sweatdropped; chances are, he didn't even notice that he had, perhaps, tipped off our clients as to who we really were. But really, in this day in age, who would believe that the military had hired vampire mercenaries to dispose of the leader of Gekkostate? No one, that's who, and we were counting on that assumption.
That's a fair assumption on our part, however. The mythos of vampires comes from Earth, which most, if not all people didn't realize was the planet we were inhabiting. It had been lost to time, like so many other things, but this mainly stemmed from Coralian terraforming, which I have no problem with. Their terraforming has also caused a shift in the axis of the planet, giving longer nights in most months of the year, barring two. Though for those two months, ai still have to sleep in my dreaded coffin. Even after millennia, I despise sleeping in a coffin. Call me a coward; I'll just rip out your heart and eat it. They're quite tasty.
"So, police girl, how good of a shot are you with the Harkonnen after a few centuries of disuse?"
Some things never change, I suppose. Sure, he's graduated to calling me by name, but only after I took on the surname of Hellsing to honor Sir Integra after her death, which also signaled the end of the Hellsing bloodline. Alucard still smirks whenever he says "Sir Seras", but I learned to not take it to, erm, heart. Yeah, still sounds quite off to say that, but I guess it can't be helped.
"I think we're going to need something more powerful than my old anti-tank rifle to get the killing shot on an LFO. Actually, I think even this LFO won't be enough."
He seemed genuinely surprised at this.
"Oh really? Why in the fuck-mothering hell would we need something more than Nirvash Type REBIRTH?"
I brought out my scanner, showing him the energy levels output by the Type 0, which was in the possession of Gekkostate.
"This is when it's piloted by a pair of teenagers."
He leaned over to see.
"Oh."
A/N: One line from HSU: Abridged, and one punny Nirvash variation later, and here we are! I can't see how many words this is in the Drive mobile app, but this is about the same length as the other short 'lil things I wrote.
These are written as though they're the 1st chapter in a fic, so I apologize in advance for how raw they are.
A review would be appreciated, as well. :3
