"Dave what the fuck is this shitty human holiday anyway?" Karkat grumbles whilst obediently placing the cat ears he was handed on his head, the artificial fur hiding his horns from the front. "And why the fuck do I have to be a damn cat?"
Dave steps out of the bathroom, pointed shades in place of his usual aviators and a sword slung across his back. "Dude it's halloween. Free candy, pranking people, getting to walk around all hours of the night, It's literally the best holiday there is." He retorts, resting his arm across Karkat's shoulders and looking over both of their reflections in the full length mirror before them. "Besides Vantas you do make a cute little kitty."
Karkat cringes away from Dave's touch before pouncing onto him, knocking him onto the couch. "I. Am. Not. Cute. Shut your face, Strider." The troll releases a small hiss and snarls his upper lip slightly.
Strider smirks, allowing Karkat to pin him down without so much as a hint of struggling. "I won't stop unless you kiss me." He states, drawing in a small breath to prepare to begin speaking again.
With a groan, Karkat leans down and presses his lips to Dave's gently, engaging him in a slow kiss. His hands slide from Dave's wrists to his hands, their fingers twining together. The troll presses his body into the human's beneath him, a soft purr pushing its way past his lips. Karkat pulls away then and sits up, straddling Dave's hips. His cheeks flush candy red while his eyes remain averted to the side.
"Th-there. You got what you wanted. Now shut the hell up Strider." Vantas growls, absently playing with Dave's fingers.
He laughs, pulling Karkat down into another shortened kiss. "Sure thing, Karkitty. Now how about we go trick or treating?"
Karkat shifts slightly, the bell on the collar strapped around his neck jingling with his movements. "Why the hell do we have to go treating and tricking. I'd rather just go get your candy tomorrow and stay home. I have movies I need to rewatch." He grumbles, focusing his eyes on Dave's stomach. "Besides it's too cold outside. Your hive is so much cozier."
Shaking his head a little, Dave sits himself up and curls Karkat in lap, throwing a blanket over them. "Yeah, we can stay in."
