This is a really short one-shot on the pairing LittleXCinder. Please enjoy.
The sad news reached Littlecloud's ears, but he didn't want to believe it, couldn't believe it.
The great Cinderpelt was dead.
How could Cinderpelt, the fiery but cool medicine cat be dead? How could StarClan do this? How could a badger have killed her?
Littlecloud wanted to yowl in pain and sadness. Cinderpelt had saved his life moons ago, rescuing him from the clutches of a deadly sickness. He had felt affection for her, shared a bond with her and now she was gone. She had been like a part of him but now that part was gone, ripped from him. The gray she-cat had meant so much, but the medicine cat was gone.
He had searched for her in his dreams, but she was not with StarClan. He realized he could never see her again and it hurt him to know that. Other ThunderClan cats shared his grief but no one felt it just like him. She had been taking away from him, without a warning without a goodbye.
He would never see her shining blue eyes. He would never see her dark gray fur pale silver in the full moon's light at Gatherings. He would never see her in his dreams, talking to him like they used to. Littlecloud would never be able to sit beside her at a Gathering, he could never ask her how to help him when he forgot; he could never share dreams with the more experienced cat, hoping she could help him.
Cinderpelt was gone forever, until he joined her in StarClan. He missed her so much, the pain of her absence too much to bear. All he wanted now was to be able to see her again, talk to her, or at least said good-bye, if she had to fade from her. She was a part of him, the memory of her would always be with him although the real cat was departed.
Cinderpelt was gone and he hadn't said how thankful he was she had lived when her accident had happened. She was gone and he had never said how much he was grateful that she had the skill to save him so long ago. She was gone and he never told her how he had inspired her to become a medicine cat.
She was gone and what hurt the most was…..
Cinderpelt was gone and Littlecloud hadn't told her how much he loved her.
