Breath in.

Breath out.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Bella was laying flat on her back, on her bed repeating this mantra in her head, focusing on just the sound of her breathing and the thump of her heart.

The steady sounds around her were shrilly interrupted, by a ringing, that was her cellular device. Sighing she looked at it, and then clicked a button to turn it off. It was Edward, again. It was about a month after she ran off to Italy to rescue him. She was still grounded, but that didn't seen to matter to him. He wanted to talk her into picking him, not Jacob.

Now I know what your thinking, why would she ever pick Jacob over Edward, since she "couldn't like with out him".

Well you see, after all that was said and done with Italy, she decided to take a long hard look at her life, and all the people in it.

Sure she saw Edward at school, but she did all she could to not talk to him, what so ever. She still talked to Alice, but refused to let her try and sway her choice.

Bella had just gotten back into her mantra, when the phone rang again, she looked at it with agitation, ready to cuss Edward out, only to see Jacob's name across the screen.

She sighed again, and turned the ring off again. You think they would get the hint, and leave her alone. But no not those two, once the ringing stopped, she turned the phone off. Then reaching into her drawer she pulled out a pair of ear plugs, and had one stuffed in her ear and was about to put the other on in when she heard the downstairs phone ringing.

"Give it up boys," She mumbled to her self, and after putting in the other ear plug, laid down again.

After she was calm again, she started thinking about the differences between Edward and Jacob, starting with the most obvious that anyone could plainly see.

Jake was tan and muscle-y, while Edward was pale and lean.

Edward had golden eyes, Jacobs were dark brown.

Copper hair Vs. Black.

Almost no clothes Vs. Fancy clothes, never worn twice.

Then there were the things that almost no one knew.

Vampire Vs. Werewolf.

Her best friend Vs. Her first love.

Smooth talker Vs. Can always make her laugh.

Warm Vs. cold.

The one she could live with Vs. The one she couldn't live without.

Her eyes flew open, as she re thought the last comparison.

"The one I can't live without," She got up quick, and pulled the ear plugs out of her ears and ran to throw a hoodie on and her sneakers.

Climbing into her old truck, she started driving to the one she wasn't going to pick first, she thought it needed to be said in person.

Driving to her second destination she thought over the one she just had. Seeing him had almost made her change her mind, but she couldn't, it had to be done.

Once she was done with the one she didn't choose, she drove away to the one who she did choose house.

Arriving to the house of the one she choose she got out, and he was there waiting, like he knew she would be there.

"Get everything sorted out?" He asked, looking at her, mesmerizing her with his eyes.

"Yes, yes I did,"

"And the verdict is?"

She walked forward and pressed her lips to his.

"Its you, it's always been you,"

He smirked slightly, and kissed her back a little

"And what made you decide this?"

"I realized you were the one I couldn't live with out,"

He kissed her again," I love you, bells,"

"I love you to, Jake," And she kissed him again.
