It will not surprise you that Mandy Wiles and Pinky Gauthier are best friends. They are BFFs (as the "cool kids" at Bullworth say it). They walk around the campus together, gossiping about anyone who's unpopular.

But ever since Mia Voelkel transferred to Bullworth, Mandy made a new "BFF". Pinky always wanted to impress Mandy, and now Mandy and all the other cheerleaders were making a big fuss over this new girl.

Pinky was upset. She wished she could talk to Mandy about how she feels, but Mandy was always busy. Mia was a new cheerleader, and it felt like an insult to Pinky that Mandy was making a big fuss over her. Mandy rarely texted or talked to Pinky anymore, neither did the other girls. Pinky was now an insecure all on her own. The Preppies could be an option, but they were always busy for boxing matches. Eunice was a good option, but Pinky thought she was weird. Zoe could be chosen, but Pinky hated poor people.

When Pinky worked up the courage to talk to Mandy, she went to the football field and saw Mandy hanging out with Mia. But Mandy rejected Pinky.

"This is a private conversation, and I don't want you to talk all the crap that you always do." Mandy sharply said.

"Listen, Mandy, we never get to talk. Ever since Mia arrived, you acted like I was a loser," replied Pinky, almost crying.

"Why would I want to be friends with someone who's getting fat? Why don't you be friends with Eunice instead?" replied Mandy rudely.

"Mandy, that's just mean!" said Mia, joining in the conversation. "I don't want to be friends with you anymore. You always call Beatrice a dork, and complain about Pinky getting fat."

"Shut up, you little git!" shrieked Mandy. "Mia, maybe I should stay with Angie and Christy. They're prettier and more loyal to me, unlike you two."
