Disclaimer: I own nothing.

The trees on either side of the road are thick.

"You've come a long way, you must be exhausted."
Where was I, where am I going? I can't even remember.

"It's been a while since the last guest, we're almost to the hotel."
Hotel? Right...I'm going to a hotel. I'm so tired.

I watch the trees pass by, along with the hours. How many times has this taxi said that we were almost there? What was I doing again? Wasn't I returning to Central?
The hotel finally rises out of the mist. The taxi halts in front of it, smiling at me as I get off. How is a car smiling? I open the doors, as dread washes over me.

"Welcome to Gregory House. Heh heh heh." The old mouse tells me, grinning.
