Astoria Malfoy had just woken up and saw that her husband was still fast asleep. She didn't want to wake him because he got home very late last night from a long day at work and it was only fair that she let him sleep. She looked out the large glass window and saw snow gracefully falling from the sky.

'It's going to be cold today' she thought. It was still quite early in the morning, but late enough that she couldn't go back to sleep. Astoria decided to go check on her young five-year-old son, Scorpius. For the past few days the young boy had been suffering from the flu had hadn't been getting any better.

She started on the long journey to her son's room (or as a proper pureblood lady would call it "a nursery"). Her son's room wasn't actually that far but the cold hallways of the manor made everything worse. 'Shit. I should have worn slippers' Astoria regretted her decision to walk around the ancient house barefooted. It was horribly insulated. Luckily she reached her son's room, which has a soft warm carpet instead of the normal glossy wood floors of the mannor. She saw her son still asleep peacefully on his large bed, which looked quite out of place for a boy that small. Astoria tip toed up to the bed and placed the back of her hand on his forehead.

"The poor boy..." Astoria thought to herself. He was still burning up. Astoria then pulled out her wand as whispered the spell. She then found out that he had a 100-degree temperature.

"Mummy, I still don't feel well" she heard her son complain. Astoria realized she woke up her sick son.

"Scorpius, go back to sleep."

"But now I won't be able to fall asleep. I just want to feel better so I can go play."

"Scorpius we tried to give you medicine but you said you didn't feel better. How about we go to St. Mungo's. You have been complaining about this for the past few days." Astoria sat on the bed gently stroking her child's head.

"No! Don't take me there!"

"My darling, the healers would make you better!"

"No that place is tooo scary!"

"But they are there to help you."

"All they do is cause you more pain!"

"Why would they do that Scorpius?"

"Mummy, when I was there last time, It really hurt. My Head hurt. Really Hurt. EEEEEvvverything Hurt!"

Astoria then remembered why her son hated the place so much. Last year, he was running down the the stairs, excited to see his grandmother and grandfather. He then tripped and fell straight down and cracked his head open. His parents, not knowing what else to do, immediately went to St. Mungos. The healers took care of the situation but Scorpius wasn't happy about it. He started to cry the minute he was pulled away from his mother's arms. After they fixed it, he still was crying saying that his head still hurt. It was a very traumatizing experience for a four-year-old.

"Ok then we don't have to go. But that means no more complaining about feeling bad."

"Ok Mummy. Can you stay here with me?"

Astoria's next action was shamed upon most pureblood parents(including her own). She did her son's bidding and crawled under the covers him. Then she tightly held on to her little boy as if he was about to run away.

xx Many Years Later xx

Astoria Elizabeth Malfoy (née Greengrass) walked into the maternity center of St. Mungo's surprised to see her son there.

"Scorpius why aren't you with your wife, who I can hear screaming at the top of her lungs, the for the birth of your child? " Astoria questioned her now adult son knowing that his wife would probably like him to be in the room with her.

"Rose knows how much I hate hospitals… also she kicked me out for pacing… but she said to ' tell your wonderful mother to get in here and get your arse out of here'."

While she walked to her daughter-in-law's room she still couldn't believe after all these years her son still hated St. Mungo's.
