Thalia was forgetting something. She just knew it.

"Phoebe," She said to the other girl. "Do you know the date?"

"I think it's July 1st," Phoebe said. "Why?"

"Hades," Thalia mumbled. "Can I borrow a drachma?"

"Why?" Phoebe repeated.

"It's Jason's birthday and I promised I wouldn't forget again."

"How old is he now?" Phoebe asked. "Old, right?"

"He's eighty-eight today," Thalia said. "It's kinda strange."

"Yeah," Phoebe said. "Catch."

She caught the drachma and pulled a spray bottle out of her bag. She walked away from the other hunters.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering." She said. "Show me Jason Grace."

She tosses the coin into the sprayed water.

The coin clacks to the ground.

"What the heck?" She muttered. "That's never happened."

She tries this a few more times with the same result.

"Okay," She said. "Show me Piper Grace"

For an eighty-seven year old, Piper still looked pretty good. Why was she crying though?

"Piper," She said carefully. "What happened? Where's Jason?"

This aroused a new round of tears.

"Jason went to Elysium, Thalia," Piper wiped her eyes. "He's dead."

She fell to her knees.

"That's not fair," She said quietly.

They didn't spend much of their childhood together, but Jason and she have been very close since the ending of the giant war.

"I know, Thalia. I know."

She threw her hand through the image, dissolving it.

She could feel tears getting ready to fall. She wasn't emotional, but this caused even her to weep.

"It's not fair," She murmured to herself. "Not fair."

Even Thalia Grace had a breaking point. So many things hurt her until she can't stop the tears. She found herself crying about Jason, but also about Luke, Bianca, Zoë, Jason again, all of the Hunters she's ever lost, Jason again.

The great Thalia Grace crying her eyes out. That's a sight no one ever expected.

"Thalia," Phoebe's careful voice crept up on her. "Dry your eyes and come eat."

"No…no…not no…no…now," Thalia cried. "I…I…I'll eat later."

"O kósmos teleió̱nei móno ótan to epithymí̱sete," Phoebe said. "The world only ends when you wish for it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Thalia dried her eyes.

"If you get sucked into grief and anger that will be all you see in the world," Phoebe said. "Come on, Thalia."

Thalia slung her bow off of her shoulder and shot an arrow into a tree's trunk.

"Goodbye Jason."

Thalia turns around leaving the arrow in the trunk.
