The Sleeping Confession

(A/N: This story was written after I watched the eposide that explains Kikyou and Inuyasha's relationship. I think that it would have been cool if Inuyasha were to do this. Even though it's a little stalkerish, but in the series he does it to Kagome soo, I thought hey what if he also watched Kikyou? Anyway...the characters aren't mine.)

If she woke to find me at her window, I know that she wouldn't hesitate to kill me. She sighes and turns over in her bed, making her face me. Momentarily my breath is taken away, she is beautiful. The moonlight is reflecting off of her pale face, her black hair is flowing onto her bed. I can't help but want her breathtaking brown eyes to open. "Kikyou." I breathe. She stirs at her name.

"Inuyasha.." She sighs. Fear courses through me. 'Did she awake and see me?' I wonder. Looking closely at her, I realize that she didn't. 'She's dreaming of me?' I smile. This beauty dreams of me. Not one of the villiage boys that are worthy of her, but of me. A hanyou, a half-demon, the type of person she had swore to kill. "I love you..." She sighes. My eyes widden. Not only does she dream of me, but she loves me. I felt as though I could fly. I smile widely at her confession. Even if she is asleep, she still said it. 'The sun will be setting soon.' I think. I knew her habits. She awoke every morning at the wake of dawn. I take one last look at her then jump out of her window.

"I love you as well, my darling Kikyou." I say as I set off in a run toward the woods.
