THE MERRY WIVES OF HOLBY

(I wrote this daft song to amuse a friend and she suggested I posted it on this site.)

Oh the merry wives of Holby are a cheerful little bunch,

Their spouse takes them to dinner, he takes them out to lunch,

Sometimes they call him Sweetheart, sometimes they call him Cal,

But each of them adore him as a husband and a pal.

It's the sweetest little set-up that Holby ever knew.

When he takes his wives out shopping they sparkle like the dew.

You can sing of Charlie Fairhead, you can tell tales of Big Mac,

But the merry wives of Holby are a most delightful pack.

He never nags or bullies them, there's no need for brute force.

They get along delightfully, so there'll be no divorce.

You should see them at Christmas, it's as shiny as can be,

When the wives wear all their bling and group around the Christmas tree.

It's the sweetest little set-up that Holby ever knew.

When he takes his wives out shopping they sparkle like the dew.

Yes the Merry Wives of Holby are famous far and wide...

But they're chickenfeed compared with the harem of David Hide!
