Disclaimer: I do not own the Characters that work on One Tree Hill.

Intro: They knew they would be different as the left for college and the rest of their lives but not a one of them realized what that truly meant. The five friends left for their futures on the last day of Summer vacation. Going into the real world not knowing what to expect and what they expect is not what they find.

"Do I have to go." whined Peyton.

Lucas put the last of her suitcases into the trunk of his car. Lucas just gave Peyton a look and she got into the car.

"I could find a job here." she told him.

"You're going and you are going to love it there." "This is amazing Peyton; I always knew you could do something like this and now you have your chance." "I Love You Peyton Sawyer and nothing is going to stop that." Lucas said.

"Haley, come on we need to get on the road." Nathan yelled.

"I know, I know but I had to make sure I have everything Jamie needs." Haley told Nathan.

"Haley there are stores where we are going." Nathan shook his head and laughed at his wife.

Haley comes downstairs with her arms full of stuff for Jamie. Nathan walked over to help her and took some of the stuff. He kissed her on the forehead. They loaded everything into their car and the trailer attached to it. Haley put Jamie in his car seat.

"Look out college here we come." Nathan said laughing.

Haley laughed too looking at Nathan.

Brook took one last look at her house all the bitter sweet memories in that house. The limousine was packed and waiting for Brook to get in. She and Peyton were going to LA. so she could get her business up and running. The only problem was she is going to be living with her parents. Let's just say she and her parents are like oil and water. Although, Peyton will be living with her. Brook got into the limousine and she was on her way.

The gang had one stop they had promised to make before the left. They gathered at Karen's Cafe`. The five of them walked into the Cafe` together. Haley was carrying Jamie and Karen went over and took him from her. Karen stepped back and looked at the five kids that had grown up in so many ways. They all had their own personal demons; they all had their own personal triumphs. She was looking at her family and losing all five of them at once was overwhelming for her.

Karen had fixed a big breakfast for them she did not want them to be hungry. They all sat down and ate. They talked about how they grew together and how they could always go the Karen when needed. They all felt sad because they were leaving someone they looked as a mother. Lucas was leaving his mother it was going to be hardest on him. They had been there a couple of hours when they started to look and nod to each other that meant they needed to leave. They all knew the moment had come but none of them wanted to be the first.
