Went too far
"Do you regret your actions?"
"Do you acknowledge the severity of your actions?"
"Do you admit your actions were unjust?"
Those were the questions they asked me.
"Slag No."
"Why don't you acknowledge the fact they deserved it!"
"No, no my actions were perfectly just."
Those were my responses.
"Do you in any way feel any remorse for your actions, even the slightest?"
They all asked.
"No, no not at all."
I answered.
"You severely impacted our relations with the Povians, Impactor, and you single handedly ended all sympathy they had to our cause."
They said to me, anger and contempt in their optics.
"Like I was just going to let those murderers get away! You know all about the massacre on Rigel III, they strung up their bodies on pikes and sticks. They deserved death!"
I argued.
"From the looks of your record, Kiloton, murdering in the thousands isn't something you should be repulsed by."
Dai Atlas said.
"I don't take pleasure in killing."
I said holding back all of my anger.
"That doesn't change the fact that you killed them when they were held down by inhibitor vises."
Trailbreaker said casting me a glare behind his visor.
"Please Trailbreaker, don't try making them the victims of this…you've personally seen their work on the holo-vids, they would have done the same, except they wouldn't have thought about it, they would have just done it."
I said scratching and 'X' into the metal floor.
"But would they shoot one of their own to get at you?"
Xaaron asked me.
I didn't answer.
I had no answer.
"This court finds you guilty of the unjust killings of Squadron X in violation of Article 6 of the Neutrality Agreement"
Said Trailbreaker.
"You will serve out your time on Garrus-9, Fort Max should have a spark extraction chamber prepped and ready for you if you admit what you did was wrong."
Xaaron said, I could see the silent plea of forgiveness in his optics.
"Sorry Xaaron, but what the only act I did on that day was carry out justice."
I said right before two security officers grabbed me and began to haul me off.
I struggled at first before stopping, Springer was in the room.
"They deserved to die, Impactor, but that didn't give you the right to kill them!"
Springer said to me as I was dragged off.
I scratched an 'X' into the floor of my cell as I recited Springer's words in my mind. I then inspected my servo, remembering my hook had been removed earlier. I sighed. Springer was right, I didn't deserve to kill them…I was the Autobot who'd gone too far…and I was guilty as hell.
