Happy Valentines Day! To all of you sitting at home tonight without hope of having any flowers or chocolate sent… I'm with you. I'll be writing angsty Yuki fanfiction and maybe watching chick flick if I can find one. Consider this my gift you, dateless or not. Love you! ^_^

Tohru had seen all the chocolates Yuki had been getting throughout the day and she wasn't surprised. It was Valentines Day and he had most of the girls on campus waiting on the edges of their seats for a chance to present sweets to him that day. She had had a small pile of chocolate stashed in her desk that she had brought with her to school and his was the only one she hadn't given away yet. She wanted to but… it seemed so inadequate compared to some of the elaborate gifts she'd seen presented to him so far.

For the first time that day, however, she saw her chance when he didn't appear to have another girl ready to pounce upon him with yet more sweets. Holding the small package of wrapped chocolates behind her back, she approached his desk where he was bent over adding small notations to an already full sheet of notes. At his feet were mounds of chocolate, and somewhere in the back of her mind she worried that hers might join the ignored and forgotten gifts.

Well… maybe it didn't matter. It was only the thought that counted, right? She just wanted to give them to him. "Happy Valentines Day, Yuki-kun," she said, holding out her wrapped chocolates to him and making him look up in surprise from his work.

The sudden tint that colored his cheeks when he accepted her chocolates confused her. "Th- thank you, Honda-san."

Tohru couldn't help but blush. "I'm sorry! I know you've recieved much better chocolates than mine today. I- I should have made them differently, but I didn't think to."

Yuki smiled. "But, Honda-san, yours is the only chocolate I ever actually eat. Didn't you know that?"

Tohru shook her head, her face heating up even more. "I guess I didn't."

Yuki gently touched the shimmering ribbon that decorated the chocolates. "It's all right. Just know that any other chocolate doesn't even compare to yours."

When class started up again, Tohru's cheeks were a flaming red and no matter how much Uotani and Hanajima asked, she couldn't bring herself to say what had her so flustered.

Thank you for reading! It was meant to be a drabble, but I think it went a little too long for that. Bleh. It's something between maybe. Short, sweet, fluffy, and a little cheesy. Kind of like Valentines Day in general. Hope you enjoyed it! Please leave a review (your valentine to me) and let me know what you thought!
