The Catfish Cabana
Her name was Lola.
She was a mergirl.
With yellow oysters in her hair,
And a tail from here to there.
She would go swimming,
And do the breaststroke,
And then one day, while up on land,
Lola fell in love with a handsome man!
Each day he'd stroll the sand,
How Lola loved this man!
They were young, and they loved each other.
But he lived on shore.

Catfish Cabana,
Lola blew bubbles,
Boy was she in big trouble.
At the Catfish...
A forbidden love!
His name was Rico.
He was her daddy.
The king of this ocean parody.
He hated humans terribly,
Thought they were monsters,
Without scaled armor.
One in love with his youngest daughter?
No way, no how!

Catfish Cabana,
Lola blew bubbles,
Boy was she in big trouble.
At the Catfish...
A forbidden love!
And so king Rico,
He had a Trident,
A weapon of mass destruction.
And he was hell bent,
To get rid of this human disturbance,
He ordered Lola, to say goodbye now.
Taking aim at the poor soul,
He blasted him, no self control.

Her name was Lola.
She was a mergirl,
But since then thirty years have passed,
Lola's heart, a broken mast.
She weeps among the clams,
Due to her daddy's rotten scams.
She's tearing at her pretty hair,
Faded oysters hanging there.
She lost her love,
She lost her human,
Now she's lost her tune!

Just a silly song that came into my head while writing a chapter of Ocean Star. I can just imagine Sebastian singing this song in the spotlight of the Catfish Cabana. I know it's not perfect, and a bit doggerel, but I sure did have fun writing it.
It's a parody of Barry Manilow's Copacabana. Fanilows of the world, unite!
I write the songs that make the whole world sing,
