A/N: This is incredible short, but hopefully it's sweet enough to push that all aside. As always, please review.

When she was still alive, my grandmother always told me that I would accomplish something great in my life.

Back then, I couldn't see how. I especially couldn't see it after I had quit the Academy. But once I had joined the Maquis, I thought that would miraculously lead me to it. Little did I know I was going to end up on Voyager.

At first, Voyager looked more like hell to me then anything else. There was no way it was going to lead me to anything great. However, after a few months, I started to see how it might just be the key. Some of the accomplishments I made certainly helped; though none of them quite made it.

Meeting Tom was one of the best things that happened to me. Without him, I probably wouldn't be at this point in my life. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I didn't have his love and support. He's seen me through so much.

As I watched Aiden and Miral sleep on the couch, both snuggled up tightly in each others' arms, I finally realized just what my grandmother meant. My greatest accomplishment wasn't building a robot, fighting in battle, or anything else that most people would call 'great'. It was being a mother.
