It was a rather quiet night in Mexico City. There was no traffic, no manifestations of the citizens that were dissatisfied with the government, no criminals lurking, no one had even seen Arácnido Jr or the agents of the Mexican Undercover Fighting Force around.
Anyone could imagine that such a night would be unable to be just a cover for a criminal act.
But unfortunately for a young hero with red and yellow costume, it was.
Inside the penthouse of a building, such hero was tied to a chair and was being beaten in a brutal way.
Chapulín Colorado, the idol of Mexico City, a living example of courage and a tireless fighter for justice, now it was just an example of what happens if someone was stupid enough to anger the kingpin.
The hero had lost at least five teeth, he had two fractured ribs, he couldn't his right arm and the rest of his muscles felt as if he had been ran over by a freight train.
The items that he used to fight crime laid around him; the Paralyzing Horn was in pieces, his Tinying pills were scattered on the ground and had been stomped upon, and the Squeaky Mallet, his weapon per excellence, was being held by Botija, his archenemy, who saw with evil amusement the beating that his men were giving to the hero.
After a few minutes, Botija told his men to stop, then he walked towards the wounded hero who was tied to the chair.
- This has been very entertaining evening, it's a pity that the other insect could not join us tonight. - Said the criminal leader.
- Spiders... are not... insects... - Chapulín gasped. - I can tell... that they never... taught you anything about... biography... in school...
Botija grunted and, using his enormous strength, he slapped the red and yellow hero, causing him to lose two more teeth.
Right after Chapulín spat one of the teeth he had lost, the hero smiled at the villain defiantly and said:
- Arácnido is right... You hit like a girl...
The evil kingpin growled and hit Chapulín two more times. After the hero's stupid smile had disappeared from his face, Botija raised Chapulín's Squeaky Mallet and prepared to end his enemy once and for all. Chapulín Colorado would be the first of many, just the warning to all the other vigilantes and agents who wanted to mess with him.
- Say goodbye, Chapulín Colorado... - Botija growled.
"A Hero is not a fearless person. It's the one who feels it, confronts it and overcomes it."
