In the beginning there was 'darkness'
Then, the darkness shed a tear.
From that tear, the brothers swords and sheild were born.
Sheild claimed it could defend against any attack.
Sword claimed it could cut through the most impenitrable defense.
The brothers began a legendary battle.
In the end, sword and sheild shattered...
Sword became the sky,
Sheild became the earth,
and the sparks their battle had created became the stars.
Jewels fell from the sky to the ground becoming True Runes-
From which all other Run were born
It was the legend told to me by Kelly, of the Howling Moon Guild, it had been a while since I'd heard it, and I'm not sure what freak synapse response in my brain allowed me to remember the haunting poem, 'The rune of beginning'. Perhaps it had just been on my mind. Explainable only by my latest assignment per the Harmonian Southern Fringe Security Forces.
Track the true rune, rumored to be carried by the young Jowy Atreides, Son of the ambassador Atreides. Upon his right hand he bares the mark of what could be the dark sword rune, half of the rune of beginning.
I almost feel sorry for him after researching the runs ancestory and hateful power. Its a wonder to me that youch a young mand could carry such a burden.
"Will you put that stupid notebook down!" The 800+ year old vampire huffed, "You so boring, all you ever do is write int hat book!" She continues.
"Why are you here again?" An irritated Nash questioned.
She cleared her throat and answered with purpose (although well all kenw she really has none), "We have similar missions, we both seek the true runes. I Sierra Mikain shall not rest until the Great Blue Moon rune is teturned to its rightful owner...me. And your looking for that swordy runey thingy." she added.
"The dark swor-"
"Right, whatever. The swordy rune. See we have the same mission. So until you help me get my rune back from that Bastard Neclord, your stuck with me." The succubus grinned evily baring the tradmark fangs that her type were typically identified by.
"And who is this Neclord again?" she opened her mouth to give yet another breathy speach, "You know what, nevermidn. If you keep on taking we'll never get to sleep, and we'll never get up in time to make it to the Jowsten conferance. So... Goodnight!" Sierra bore her fangs and hissed, appearently annoyed with Nash's rudeness.
"I'll see you in the morning... if I don't get hungry tonight." She teased, or did she?
-Entry 2 day 1 The old hag grows increasingly hostile, I fear for my life.
