(A/N: I know, I know, I'm WAY late after the fandom craze of "Escape From The Citadel", but it took a while for this idea to come to me, dang it! Don't rush my brain!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy.)

Finn and Jake grabbed Baby-Lich and dunked him into the water. They straddled onto him and he floated over to Starchy's train, where they loaded him into the first car. Then they helped Starchy back up his train and get it back on the track. Boy, that took a while.
But when they had finished, Finn and Jake sat in the second car, ready to leave the awful Citadel behind.

With a choo-choo of the whistle, Starchy's train was on its way to the Candy Kingdom.

"Wow," Finn chuckled."What do you know? We made it out of there alive!"

"Heh-heh, yeah. Just barely," Jake nudged Shelby back into his ear and turned to watch the wagons behind them."Just...just barely..."

Finn frowned."...I'm really sorry about Prismo, bro."

"Don't worry about it, Finn!" Jake assured him.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"Mm-hmm. The grieving process can take as little as twenty-four hours if done correctly. When we get home, I'm gonna eat a bunch of pickles on the couch and cry myself to sleep."

"Oh..." Finn jabbed his thumb into his bare chest."And I shall fetch you a blanket!"

Jake smiled."That's what I like to hear. Now, what about you? How's the stub holdin' up?"

Finn poked at one of the petals and flinched."Yow. Kinda hurts. And my shoulders ache from getting all stretched out," he tried flexing them."I'm sure it'll feel better after a good nap. And Raggedy Princess will make me some new clothes and stuff, so that's covered."

"You didn't have any important loot in that backpack, did you?"

"No, man! After you forced me to sing in front of those wildberry people, I started keeping Mom's music box at home!"

"Good call," Jake gave him a thumbs-up."...can we keep the baby Lich?"

"No!" Finn replied immediately."It...used to be the Lich! I don't want it in our tree house!"

"But he's so chubby!"

"We don't have the capacity to take care of a baby!"

"...true," Jake crossed his arms.

"Hmm..." Finn thought on the matter."Hey, Jake. I've got an idea for that baby."

"Yeah?"

"We're going to give it to somebody who really needs it, and who I know can take care of it!"

"Really? Who?"

Finn yawned and ran his fingers through his hair."Eh, I'll tell you in a few hours. Right now, I'm gonna doze off. Wake me when we get to the Candy Kingdom..." He curled up in his seat across from Jake and closed his eyes.

"A'ight," Jake muttered to himself.

He grinned at the Lich baby ahead of him and the pink cotton candy trees that the train was passing.

Yes, it looked like things were going to be juuust fine.

(A/N: It could have been better...but I only spent about twenty minutes on it...
