A/N I do not own Star Wars, I only own my OC.

It's always the gingers. When the clients choose between people to have me kill it's the gingers. I myself, have red hair, so I found this slightly offensive. I was not the best in my line was work but it's just killing people for money, so it's pretty hard to be bad at it. It was slightly embarrassing, however, how easy it was to sneak into this first order base. In the information I was given on my target, it said that General Armitage Hux was supposed to be on this base today, to check in and gather reports manually.

I had killed one of the stormtroopers and stolen his uniform. There was a gunshot hole in the suit but if I was quick enough I would be fine. Walking further into the base, I check the small datapad where Hux would be right now. Instead of him being on the other side of the base like my usual luck would have presented, he was quite near. He was most likely making his way to one of the superior's areas to get their reports. I walked casually as I could to the hallway adjacent to the room. I got out my three level laser and cut out a portion of the wall to get into the vents. It was a classic choice: Go in the vents, climb above the room, and shoot the target with the smallest, fastest firing gun known to living beings.

While I climb inside the rectangle, I pick up the chunk I had cut out and place it back in. I was shorter than average standing at a whopping 5'3" for my 27 years of age. This statistic did not help in climbing up vents. I jump up and stick my feet out so my lower back is flat against the back of the vent while my knees are slightly bent. I shimmy myself up and make the small leap over to the easier portion of the vent.

Now horizontal, I'm crawling on all fours to get to the slits in the vent where I can aim my weapon. I can see the light filtering in, showing small dust particles. I take off the helmet I had stolen and push up the orange-tinted goggles to the top of my head. I can see his red hair merely a meter or so away from me. He is speaking to a uniformed officer and I see my chance to finish the job. I inhale, the world around me stills and all I can focus on is my finger on the trigger and the slight pull all the back of my skull.
