Here with Me
Me: The Sequel to "Only Time". "Here with Me" belongs to Dido, and YYH doesn't belong to me.

I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory
"Kurama," Shiori asked, gently, "Are you going to the funeral?"
It had been two days since Hiei had died. Kurama nodded, not crying, not talking, and not eating.
The pain was overwhelming, but it had gone.
Now, it was just shock.
Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want
But I can't hide
=Later=
Laying on is bed, staring at the ceiling, Kurama waited.
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting
Here with me
He started to fall into a semi-sleep state. He could hear all the sounds from the real world, but he could see and hear his dreams, too.
He saw Kuronue, with his arm wrapped around Hiei, and Hiei was looking at Kurama with something he had never seen before.
Love...
I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting
Here with me
Kurama's eyes snapped open, but he was too tired to keep them open for long. "Hiei..." he muttered.
He heard his mother come in and felt her sit next to him, stroking his hair.
"Kurama, honey, wake up... It's time to go," she whispered.
I don't want to call my friends
They might wake me from this dream
And I don't wanna leave this bed
Risk forgetting all that's been
=At the Funeral=
"Hey, Kurama..."
"Hello, Yusuke...Kuwabara," Kurama said quietly, nodding.
He put his hands in his pockets and shuffled some dirt with this foot.
While the priest was saying the passing rites, Kurama thought he felt coldness on his shoulder. He looked up, but saw no one. He looked at the ground again.
He felt it again, like an icy tap.
He turned around and pushed through the crowd of people.
He looked out over the cemetery, and froze.
Oh I am what I amI'll do what I want
But I can't hide
A black figure walked between tombstones, until it hid behind one and didn't come out again.
Kurama ran down the hill, running to the last stone it had visited. Nothing was there. He felt a gentle youki in the breeze, and the coldness.
I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting
Here with me
He slowly went back up the hill. He stood next to Yusuke and Kuwabara.
He watched as the casket was dropped in the hole. The gravediggers started burying it.
"That's my friend in there, that's Hiei, Kurama thought, sadly.
I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting
Here with me
There was silence, until he clenched his fist and screamed, "HIEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He had a hand over his face, covering his sobs.
If only they had turned around...
If only they had turned around, they would've seen Hiei's spirit, leaning against a tomb, watching them, before fading away, like the memory he was.
Rest...
I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting
Here with me
I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting
Here with me
