Author's Note:
This is just a random little fluffy fic that I wrote up just now. It serves no purpose whatsoever, I just felt like writing it. Tell me what you think. I think that I am slowly falling in love with little one-shots. Would you guys mind if I started writing more of them?
"Bow ties are cool!" He says, straightening his red bow tie angrily. He flips his dark hair from his eyes with a flick of his head and glares at Amy.
"No, they are most definitely not!" Amy tries to grab his tie, but the Doctor darts away quickly. She races after him, but he's too quick, dashing around the TARDIS control room easily. Then he steps on his own shoelace and falls down flat on his face on one of the balconies, groaning.
Amy stands over him, sadly shaking her head with an amused twinkle in her eyes. "You are such a big klutz!"
He doesn't answer, instead standing up and straightening his bow tie again. He dusts of his suit, unfazed, and then grins cheekily at her. He leans forward slightly, so that their faces are almost touching.
"You know what?" The Doctor whispers.
Amy sighs. "What?"
He keeps on grinning.
"BOW TIES ARE COOL!" With that, he jumps away yet again, racing through the TARDIS halls, and Amy laughs.
Even though she knows he's long gone, she speaks into the empty corridor.
"Doctor, you are hopeless." But, you know what? Bow ties ARE cool, as long as you're the one who's wearing one. She'll never say that to his face, but the Doctor knows it anyway, because he's the Doctor, and even when he's silly, he can always find the smallest details of someone's personality or feelings. Amy supposes that that's why she loves him. He's always there for her, when she needs to laugh, or when she needs someone to understand her.
Amy turns around to face Rory, who's leaning against the console, a worried look on his face. As always, Amy thinks to herself with an inward smile.
"You do know that I only love him as a friend, right Rory?"
"Um. Yeah, yeah." Rory nods uncomfortably.
"No you don't, you're always worrying that I don't love you. But let me tell you something, Rory the Roman." Amy walks up to him and plants a soft kiss on his lips. "No matter how many times the Doctor saves the universe or does something amazing or impossible, I will always love you more, because you are my husband, and you are worth it."
End note:
Incredibly short, I know. Then again, it's just a teensy little one-shot fluff-fic. So let me know if I should write more like these, ranging from this length to maybe the length of one of my regular chapters. :) Reviews always make me happy!
Also, please give me fan fiction requests. I love to write them, but I'm a bit short on ideas. I do clean Sherlock, probably maybe JohnLock, and most Doctor Who related things. Also open to LotR, Eragon, Harry Potter, or others. Thanks. :)
