Summary: Some people are disappointed that Harry and Draco aren't fighting anymore...

A different POV of H/D )

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or Draco Malfoy or Hogwarts, or the Hogwarts Express or anything JK Rowling ever thought of ( . But who doesn't wish they did, yeah?

------

Kenneth and Milo MacPherson piled onto the Hogwarts Express with their trunks and other normal wizarding paraphernalia. It was Kenneth's first year going to Hogwarts, so as his brother was scouting out an empty cabin for him and his brother, Kenneth gawked at the innumerable amount of wizards and witches already packed into cabins on the Express. He wasn't a muggleborn wizard, but he had never seen this many magical people in the same place at once.

"Hey, Kenneth! Shove your stuff in here," his brother called to Kenneth,

Kenneth dragged his bags into the compartment while his brother held the door open. They stowed their bags there and settled down for a long ride.

"Hey...Kenneth..." Milo started, "Have I ever told you about the bloody spectacular fights that Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy put on?"

Kenneth smiled. He loved hearing stories about Hogwarts from Milo, especially ones about The Boy Who Lived.

"Well, Harry Potter and Malfoy," Milo said his name as to make it obvious that he was rooting for Harry, " Have been enemies ever since they were both First Years, and ever since then they're been arch-enemies. And every year, they have an all out duel, last year I was right there when it started! It was bloody spectacular! There were curses flying everywhere and yelling and shouting all around! And then there are the stories!"

As the Hogwarts express pilled up to Hogwarts itself, Kenneth's head was swimming with stories of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. On the train ride, Milo had told every story about the pair's rival, from their initial meeting, to Quidditch games, to their last big blowout the year prior. Kenneth could honestly say that he was looking forward to seeing one of these fights more than he was looking forward to meeting one of the resident ghosts (preferably not Peeves, of course).

----

Halfway through the term, Kenneth was feeling disappointed. There hadn't been any fights between Draco and Harry...not even a whisper of the two rivals having a tiff in classes. He was beginning to think that his brother had been pulling his leg.

Then Kenneth saw them. It was just after breakfast one day, as he was leaving the Great Hall, he saw the tell-tale absolute-blonde of Draco Malfoy coming down the main stairs, looking distraught that he had just missed breakfast. Kenneth also knew that Harry Potter was somewhere behind him, as he had seen him during breakfast. Surely, Harry would take this opportunity to insult Malfoy! Kenneth was nearly jumping for joy! Milo would be jealous to have missed out on a fight as huge as this was sure to be!

But Draco and Harry had different ideas, it seemed. Once Harry and Draco saw each other they locked eyes. Anyone around them felt the sparks fly from their intense stares and all of them mentally prepared for any stray hexes that were bound to start flying at any moment. Instead, they calmly walked to meet in the No Man's Land that had formed as the students were anticipating a massive fight between the two boys and simply held hands and began walking through the shocked crowd amicably.

"Well I suppose everyone knows now," Draco drawled as they happened to pass by Kenneth,

"They would have found out sooner or later, Dray," Harry replied,

Harry then kissed his boyfriend full on the lips as they walked down into the dungeons.
