He saw her on a screen. He thought she was prime flaming material. She didn't get angry; all she did was type emoticons and block him. When she contacted him out of the blue, he really was surprised. Though he cursed and yelled, he wasn't really angry. He helped her. He really wanted her to succeed.
Then, while poking around on human websites, he found a song. A beautiful song. He listened to it over and over until he had memorized it. He would hum it all the time. And when his feelings for her grew, the words in his head changed. They weren't about some girl named Delilah. They were about her. He began writing. He knew that their game would end. He knew it was failed and that she would probably die. But he kept writing. He finished his song to her. But he didn't get a chance to sing it to her. She scratched her game.
He though she was gone forever. But a message came. From her. She was okay, she was alive. And that was all he cared about. Because he realized he loved her. But he had to wait. He waited for a long time. For years. He was tempted to give up, but he held on. For her. When it was close to when they would finally, finally meet, memorized the song. He would sing it to her. He would sing it and he would tell her how he felt. But it wasn't that easy.
She wasn't the same. But it wasn't her fault. She was being controlled by the villains. They had to finish what they had started years ago. The heroes battled their enemies. And he brought her back to their side. He broke the spell. And when the final battle was over, when everyone was safe, he took her aside and sang his song for her. He told her he loved her. And she said she felt the same way. They lived together in the universe they helped create.
And to show everyone how strong their love was, they carved it into a tree. A big tree that would stay there forever. Like their love. They carved a huge heart with their names inside it. And even years later, they would go to their tree and remember their years apart. And the tree is still there. With their carving.

Real short one shot that I wrote while listening to that song. This is probably terrible beause it's 1:30 am and I should sleep.
