I do not own RWBY or the Destiny franchise. RWBY is a show made by Monty Oum. Rooster Teeth now airs the show at certain times. Destiny is a game made by Bungie, Activision, Havok, Granny 3D, Speedtree, Wwise, and DemonWare.
It was a horrifying, yet exciting new thing. The Traveler. Yes while it was curing diseases left and right and preforming miracles, it put the fact that there was something else out there, something alien, that led to many people fearing if something else could be out there too; and the worst part is...their thoughts and fears was right.
It was a normal day at Beacon Academy, as normal as it could be with a giant white orb barely hovering over the top of the Beacon Headmasters Office. As for Team RWBY…well…
'"Weeeeiiiisssss, let's goooo." Ruby Rose, the sugar loving, youngest member, and leader of team RWBY, whined at-
"Ruby. You are really, really testing my patience right now, I have told you at least twenty times, we will go see it and you can take pictures with Velvet, but right now, we have classes to attend to." This response came from the formal W of Team RWBY, Weiss Schnee, heirs to the Schnee Dust Company.
"Ah lighten up Ice Queen, I'm sure Ruby can skip class one day to see what is pretty much the closest thing to an alien, might I add a peaceful one, I'm sure Professor Oobleck will understand, I mean even Ports out there right now." This response came from Yang Xiao Long, the brute of Team RWBY.
"Yes,"said Weiss,"but Ports class doesn't start till 1:00 in the afternoon. If you really want to go out to see it and take pictures on your scroll, I am not at blame when your grades fall to another C." And with that Weiss was of to class
"I'm going to go to class with Weiss, don't want another bad grade in History." Said Yang."See you later rubes." Yang turned around and barreled down the hall to class, comically littering papers everywhere.
Ruby sighed, deciding that when she was done outside looking at that THING, she would look for Blake; the stealth Faunus of the group, they haven't heard from her since last night when she said she was going to go to the library in Vale.
Ruby grabbed her scroll of the charger and made her way to the elevator. She was so excited! How could she not be! 'The first true form of alien life' she thought. "This day is going to turn out great." She said aloud, not knowing how wrong those words would be...
When the elevator hit the lobby floor she ran (with help of her semblance) straight outside to the courtyard, looking up at the sky, er… what would have been the sky if a foreign white ball was not blocking it. She could see Professor Port Laughing with a student. She saw Ports weapon on him and immediately regretted something. Her precious Crescent Rose was stashed away in a locker. After the Grimm breach in the center of Vale, teachers were required to have their Weapons at them at all times, just as a safety precaution. Ruby had hers put in her locker and for the life of her she couldn't remember why. She decided that this was only slightly more important than her weapon, which was saying something coming from the gun enthusiast she was. Ruby got out her scroll, snapping away pictures at the giant thing. Then she noticed something in her pictures, something was behind the giant sphere. She couldn't get a good look at it but it was a light brown, almost like a cookie. Ruby then noticed her scroll buzz, she looked at it, and it was an aura report. The strange thing is she never opened the App, and it only opens by itself if someone on the team has taken consecutive Aura loss. Weiss and herself had their auras nearly depleted from their first class, which was their sparring class. But it was Blake who was taking damage, Ruby was now worried, she went to text Yang, and then she heard the screams. She looked back into the sky, forgetting about the brown object. The brown thing was some kind of shuttle and it was lowering to the ground shooting some form of electricity out of a turret. A/N The brown thing is a Skiff from Destiny Then the turret spined towards her, and all she saw was black.
