This is a poem I wrote after reading a story about teen suicide. It isn't the greatest, but I thought it got the message across. By the way, I don't believe suicide is the answer to anything. I'm all for living.

The Note

To whoever reads my last words,

'You hated me

But I loved you

You rejected me

When I told you

You laughed

While I cried

Now here I stand

Making my final demand

That one day you will

Think of me and have some guilt

This is all your fault

And now you know

Why I did what I did

I'm the biggest joke at school

My friends turned on me

My parents didn't care about me

But you were my final chance at life

When you tossed me aside,

That was when I made my choice

So as I stare down

The barrel of the gun

All I can think is:

"Now I'm done"
