A/N:
If this is my LA teacher (Mr. N-)- This is Jastinne. I assume you've used the plagiarism checker to see if I was cheating, but well, this is me. I did not plagiarise this story, I used this idea for your LA project. Believe me? Good. Don't? I'll prove it during a lunch period. This was the original piece, but I added more detail to the one I handed in. Here's the original piece, read it if you will, but I did not plagiarize it.
So this idea struck me when I was busy getting stuck under my bed and banged my saxophone against the wall, breaking ANOTHER reed. *sigh*
(What is a reed? It is a thin strip of material which vibrates to produce a sound on a musical instrument: i.e., my ALTO Sax.)
So here's a collection of my fails during the month of September.
Dedication: I wasn't really on the forum yesterday, so I didn't know it was Arie Jay's birthday! Happy b-day, Arie!
(She appears in here!)
(And my music teacher too!)
Enjoy!

"Um, Mrs. Terri, my reed's broken."
Famous last words.
Mrs. Terri glanced sternly at Sonny Monroe, who was holding her "bitten" reed sheepishly. With a sigh, she reached into her purse and pulled out two reeds.
"Well, that's why your saxophone sounds like a strangled rat." she said playfully. "You take care of it, now?"
Sonny nodded and bounced over to her seat beside Arie Jay (the other saxophone).
"So did Mrs. T totally grill you?" she asked, leaning closer.
"Nah. She just gave me two new reeds and told me not to break it again." answered Sonny, disposing her other reed.
"You'd better not this time..." snickered Arie.
"Is that a bet?" Sonny stared pointedly at Arie.
Arie nodded.
"BRING IT!"
~.~
"DAMN! I BIT MY REED!"
"One dollar, please."
"Damn you, Arie."
~.~
Sonny paused outside the music room and jiggled the handle. Locked.
She inwardly cursed as she headed downstairs, her saxophone case in one hand.
"Good morning!" she called to her classmates as she headed to her locker.
"Morning."
"Hey, was the music room open earlier?" Sonny asked Arie.
"Nope." she answered, popping the p. "I just dropped mine in front."
"Didn't she tell us not to do that?"
Arie just shrugged. Huffing, Sonny stalked past her teachers and climbed up the stairs. And as expected, the music door was locked.
She stalked down the stairs again, past her science and french teacher. And then...
The. Saxophone. Case. Fell. Out. Of. Her. Hands.
Sonny groaned. She carefully picked it up and opened the case.
"I broke another reed?" she exclaimed in exasperation.
"Two dollars..." Arie singsonged as she walked by.
~.~
"Mrs. Terri, can I have a new reed?"
Fin.
A/N: How was that for a epic fail?
Happy Birthday, Arie!
