The Sea and the Sky
My take on 'Origins 1&2' and their relationship throughout the series with a bit of my own AU at the end.
I got the title from 'Workout Buddies' by wonderbugs. The whole sentence I got the title from, goes, 'I feel like I'm trapped in between the sky and the sea, and I don't know if I should fly or swim' {Chat Noir} so this fic is kinda based off this? Enjoy!

Somebody To You, The Vamps
'I used to be so tough
Never really gave enough
And then you caught my eye
Giving me the feeling of a lightning strike.'
I was so used to being independent that I never tried to rely on people. That was made worse as I became Chat Noir, I knew that one day I would gain a partner, Plagg told me that much, but It never really occurred to me until I met her… that girl I fell hopelessly in love with the first time I saw her in action, the thrill, the happiness in her electric blue eyes; sending mini shocks down my body. Those eyes that seemed to tear me up and put me back together in a millisecond and evaluate my entire being in a single glance. I wasn't afraid to say that I fell for her. Hard. And a I grew to know her I found out that her temper was a sight to behold, it was like a thunder storm it would slowly build up till it would explode into a mass of light and sound that would make you want to curl up and hide. This lady of mine, this amazing lady of mine, my Ladybug turned my view of this pitiful, colourless world up-side down in that single moment when she shone for the first time, but not for the last, her legacy would live on. I would make sure of that.
That was the first time I saw my Lucky Charm, My Ladybug.
River flows in you, Yirima
We started off badly. But she caught my eye anyway. That following day, in the rain, those sapphire eyes filled with compassion, warmth and a bit of awe, captivating in every way. Her eyes where like the sea, changing in a spectrum of different blues, captivating and mesmerizing in a look. She was capable of anything and she was strong. She was my princess, giving strength when I had none and she cried for me when I had no tears left to shed. Her temper changed from the calm before the storm, holding a subtle venom to it that would send you to your knees, to a rough sea that made you want to get out of there as soon as possible until it was over. And she made my heart ache with yearning whenever I wasn't in her amazingly warm presence and, again, I'm not ashamed to say it, I fell head first in love from that first meeting in the rain and that was the second time I met her, my amazing princess of mine, Marinette and I fell in love with this beautiful, wonderful, talented princess and I could only hope that I could be her prince.
That was the second time I saw her, my Lucky Charm, My Princess.
