alter ego, ad infinitum
Executive Assistant District Attorney Jack McCoy wasn't normally the type to ride ferris wheels. After years of work prosecuting some of New York's toughest criminals, you'd have to forgive him for losing a bit of his sense of wonder. But even grizzled McCoy had to admit: it was a heck of a view from the top.
"These last few weeks have been the best of my life," admitted Jack, putting his arm snugly around his companion. "And from up here, at the zenith of the fair, everything seems so clear and simple in the sunset's golden light. Is there a better view in all of middle earth?"
"I wouldn't know, Jack," said Daredevil.
