Harry grabbed Ginny's hand and began to pull her away from the Burrow. There was a mischievous sparkle in his captivating eyes, but for some strange reason, she followed him. Once they got a good distance away from the building, they broke out into a run. The Weasley's property whipped past them as they put more distance between them and everyone else.
Finally, they stopped and Ginny gasped, "What are we doing, Harry?"
"We are going to spend some time together without any interruptions." She scoffed. Harry was dreaming. Her brother were so overprotective of her, it was smothering.
"Keep dreaming," she muttered. Before Ginny could make any more sarcastic remarks, he captured her lips in a passionate kiss. She wound her fingers through his unruly hair and returned the kiss hungrily. It truly was amazing to spend some time together as a real couple.
After a few minutes of standing in the middle of the small grove of trees, the couple broke off the kiss and caught their breath. Ginny pulled Harry down onto the soft grass. Their eyes met, and the silent profession of love was evident. This time, she leaned in for the kiss. He gently lowered her to the ground without breaking off the heated lip lock. Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful summer's afternoon, and they planned on enjoying every moment of it. Absolutely nothing could ruin the moment.
Harry's lips moved down to the soft skin of Ginny's neck. A moan of undeniable pleasure slipped past her lips. The couple was so wrapped up in each other that they didn't hear the approaching footsteps of someone. Suddenly, that person cleared their throat. Harry looked up while Ginny squirmed under him. They were both face to face with the highly amused gaze of Bill.
"Mum said that it's time to eat," he said with a twinkle in his eyes. Ginny managed to twist herself out from under Harry. Once she got to her feet, she helped him up too. She brushed off her robes to the best of her ability while Bill simply stood and watched.
"I'll meet you back at the house," Harry said quietly. As he slipped past Bill, he nodded politely.
By the time Harry was out of sight, Ginny was absolutely fuming at Bill and the fact that he had interrupted them.
"Couldn't you prats leave me alone with Harry for five minutes?" she demanded. Bill couldn't help but laugh.
Mum sent me," he argued. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him.
"Sure, but I'm sure you just jumped at the opportunity to come find us." He swung his arm around her shoulders, and they began to walk back towards the Burrow.
"You're my baby sister; I have a right to be protective." He planted a brotherly kiss on the top of her head. "Next time, I promise I'll give you guys ten minutes alone together."
"That's all I ask." She looked up at Bill. His face was still heavily scarred, but he was still incredibly handsome. "I love you."
"Love you too." Suddenly, Ginny broke out into a run; her robes billowing behind her like a cloud. "Race you!" she shouted over her shoulder. Bill ran after her, just like when they were young.
