Circus (NOUN)

Traveling show: A group of traveling entertain including clowns, acrobats and sometimes animal trainers and their animals.

Hanging around her group of friends always reminded Alicia a little bit of the one time she and her two older brothers had visited the circus. It was fun and exciting and thrilling, but at times it was also a tad bit scary and after a day of being there, you just wanted to go home and sleep.

Katie Bell reminded her most of the strong-woman. Not because she had outrageous muscles, but because of her attitude. And also the fact that she had more defined muscles then either Alicia or Angelina, combined. Katie was kind of a tomboy. She was always ready to wrestle with any of the guys. She had a semi-foul mouth and one look at her made you hope she was never angry with you.

Angelina Johnson was like the pretty woman who got into the box to be cut in two, or stabbed many times, but always came out fine. She was beautiful, and never let words hurt her. And she had a subtle grace about her that was almost unbearable to be around at time and comforting at other times.

Jordan Lee had to of course be the guy with the top hat and bright red suit who announced everything. He had the loudest voice and biggest smile of anyone in the group. His larger then life attitude definitely made Alicia think of him as the ring-leader.

The roles Fred and George played were easy for any one to guess. They were the clowns. Not the weird ones with frowns painted on their identical faces, but the funny kind. The one's that always had something up their sleeves; that always had a flower that skirted water. The duo went around spreading laughter as only clowns could.

As for Alicia, she viewed herself as the ballerina on the tight rope, desperate not to fall down to the circling lions. She always had to maintain a certain distance from her rambunctious friends, lest they should cause her to take one wrong step. Every step she took was carefully orchestrated. But in the back of her mind she knew, that should she fall, those same friends would be there to catch her.

So, to Alicia Spinnet, every day was like a day at the circus.

A/N: This is just a short (obviously) piece I did about Alicia and her group of friends. As always I hope you like it and R&R! :)
