"Ugh," I sighed as I got up to shut the alarm off. "I'm so not liking this new schedule, Liss," I said as I went to our closet.

"Good morning , Rose," Lissa said walking calmly out of the closet of our little three bedroom apartment.

"Why do we have to be up so early?" I complained.

"Because Christian and I have to be at work in an hour and we need you, Dimitri, and Eddie to make sure we get there safely," Lissa explained.

"I know, I know, I just hate it!" I exclaimed as I grabbed a pair of jeans and a fitted t-shirt from my half of our closet and went to go take a shower.

"Hey, Dimitri, can we practice fighting later? While they're at work?" Eddie asked, he wanted to fight Dimitri, he believed if he could beat Dimitri he could beat anyone.

"I don't see why not, we'll go to the gym I told you about, the moroi and dhampir one," Dimitri said.

"Awesome!" Eddie exclaimed.

"That's so not fair! You get to go off fight each other while I'm stuck in an office watching them!" I screamed from the bathroom where I was drying my hair.

"Eddie gets to stay in the office with them next week so you're not the only one. If anything goes wrong call us. We're technically still on duty," Dimitri said.

"Okay, as long as you guys don't get trapped at the gym for some reason and I end up needing you at the office," I told them, still unsatisfied with the fact they got to practice while I had to sit in an office all day.

"Rose, are you almost ready? We have to leave in five minutes," Christian yelled from the kitchen.

"Yeah, I just need to put on my jacket and shoes," I replied running back to mine and Lissa's closet to grab my black sneakers and dress coat. "Liss, you ready?"

"Yep, Eddie, Dimitri can you go get the car?" Lissa asked politely getting her purse.

They went to go get the car, an Aston Martin Rapide, which we used most of the time we also have a Mercedes Guard and Eddie has a Volvo, I don't remember what model though.

We were at Lissa and Christian's work in no time, Dimitri dropped us off, parked the car and walked across the street to get a coffee.

"Liss you sure they won't mind that I'll be here all day long watching you guys?" I questioned.

"No, but if they don't let you stay then all three of us are leaving. You can't leave us there," Lissa said calmly, as always.

"Liss, hurry up, we're going to be late," Christian told us.

We hurried inside to the elevator.

"Hello, I suppose you two are Miss Dragomir and Mr. Ozera?" the receptionist inquired.

"Yes, please call me Lissa," she told the receptionist.

"Yes, yes. Who is with you?" the receptionist replied looking at me.

"Oh, she is one of our bodyguards, they want at least one of them with us at all times," Lissa told her, using just a tiny bit of compulsion to make sure I was allowed to stay here with them.

"Yes, yes. Let me show you to your office," She replied a little confused. Their office was very nice. A medium sized white room with two desks, six chairs, some shelves, a couple of plants, a coffee maker, and a wall made from windows, which had a great view of the beautiful Beverly Hills we lived in. The day went smoothly, Lissa and Christian doing their work while I was on the look out for danger. There was something about that receptionist that made me wonder if we were ever actually safe here, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
