Walking out of the darkness towards the light, Seto Kaiba stopped at the cave's opening to take a look at his current surroundings. As his eyes focused all he could see, at first, was a vast and never ending Desert of blood red sands and a starless sky of deep magenta. As his eyes adjusted more to the light, his eyes widened in the strangeness that was before him, Seto could barely make out the strange and odd shaped pillars that seem to peek out of the bloody dunes like darts on a dartboard.

Something told Seto that these odd shapes had more to say than at first glance. As he walked towards the pillars, the more Seto Kaiba realized that he was in an ancient and decayed city. As he passed the pillars, he quickly saw that they were marked with symbols, glyphs and letters of all kinds in an odd mixture a variable languages. Walking to one of the pillars for a closer look, Seto saw the deep and perceived cuts that were carved with fine precision of a laser. The more he observed the pillar, the more he started to hear an unnerving whispering of young children on the breeze.

"Child of Azathoth…Thoth."

"Who's there?" Seto yelled back as he looked around himself in all directions in order to pin down where the voices were coming from.

"Child of Azathoth… Thoth."

"Who is this child of Azathoth?" he yelled again, "And who is this Azathoth?"

Seto Kaiba waited for a reply, but none came. Dismissing the voices as a trick of the wind, he went back to studying that he was looking at earlier. Touching the carving in front of him, Seto could have sworn that the pillar was recently chiseled, but the more he felt it the texture of the pillar wasn't of stone. The pillar was of flesh and it looked as if it was breathing.

Quickly removing his hand and backing away from the pillar, Seto turned around and found himself in front of an alter, with the hand that felt the pillar holding a bloodied knife and his other hand holding a still beating heart. Confused and feeling uncertain to what had just happened, Seto looked down at the top of the alter with dread; he saw what looked like a newly sacrificed male. Looking at the victims face, Seto was shocked to see his own face on the dead body. Screaming, he woke up in his bed with beads of sweat rolling down his face and his breathing shallow and shaking.

"It was just a nightmare; thank goodness it was only my nightmare." Seto thought to himself till his hand that held his heart in his dream started to itch. As he rubbed his hand, he felt a odd scar on his palm, looking at his had he saw a strange symbol glowing red. Touching it he heard the children whisper one more time.

"Child of Azathoth."
