Prologue:
Welcome to Despair High!
I looked beyond the bronze gates of the academy; my eyes grew with excitement as I continued to gaze at the large Building. "I can't believe this," I muttered to myself. Kibogamine Academy; one of the most honorary schools in the nation. It's said that anyone who graduates here, is granted ultimate success. By the way, my name is Frisk. And on the day on my birthday; I was given an invitation to attend the academy. As the note read: "Dear Mr Frisk, you have been formally invited to attend Kibogamine Academy under the title 'Ultimate Pacifist'. But to believe that a person like me got invited to a school like this, I could hardly believe it. But for this school, you need two requirements to be chosen: One, you need to be currently enrolled in high school. And two, you must excel in one curricular activity. Though with a title like "Ultimate Pacifist". It's hard to understand specifically what curriculum I excel in.
However before coming to the school, I was reading up on the both the facility and the student attending the school. And during my research, it turns out that not only were the student ultimate's but the entire staff as well. I was nervous to enter the building, but with my head held high, I took my first step into the school. The invitation states that all student are to report to the gymnasium at eight o'clock sharp I looked at my watch, the time was seven fifty-four.
Knowing that I didn't want to be late, I took a step through the gates of the school ready for whatever happened. What did end up happening, however, was not what I expected. Everything around me started to blur, my feet unable to move from their place. "What's happening!?" I yelled out, not knowing what was going on at all. I looked around frantically, trying to see if this was some kind of insane trick as my vision got blurrier and blurrier, and before I knew it, I was out like a light.
"Where…where am I?" I muttered that to myself, as lifted my head off the cold desk.
My eyes slowly widened as I looked around the classroom, I immediately noticed that iron plates bolted to the windows. I got up from the desk and began to pry off on one of the bolts, but it didn't even budge. The next thing I noticed was the card on the desk in front of me. I opened it up to find writing on it that said "All students report to the gym at eight o'clock in the morning. I looked up at the clock at the front of the classroom to check the time to find that it was seven fifty-eight. Knowing I should be late, I rushed out of the classroom and quickly ran down the hall until I got to a door that had the sign "gymnasium" on it. Knowing this is where I need to be, I opened the door wondering who was in there already. Once I opened the door, everyone in it looked at me seeing that another student had arrived just like them. I looked around to see that fourteen others were standing in the room, meaning that I was the last one to arrive. "You must be the last student," A voice from the crowd in front of me said. "That makes fifteen of us." I looked around, seeing the faces of many students that would attend the academy.
"Looks like I am," I said as I joined the rest of them in the room. "My name's Frisk. It's nice to meet you all. D-Do you mind telling me some of your names?" I stuttered.
