Ronon/Keller

This my first fic.

Push and Pull

"Great work, Radek," Colonel Carter stated, "Everyone on this base owes you a debt of gratitude."

Smiling up at the Colonel, Radek said, "Oh, thank you."

"McKay would love this," John remarked.

"Speaking of McKay, where is he, I haven't seen him since before the quarantine," questioned Ronon as Colonel Carter left the room.

"Oh I have," chuckled Jen. Considering I had to treat him for his nonexistent disease, she thought. "He mentioned something about getting back to talk with Dr. Brown." she said gazing at Ronon.

"Well on that note," John said, "I have some things I have to catch up on."

Teyla questioned, "You do? I thought that you…"

John interrupted, "You know that thing… we talked about," standing and giving Teyla a meaningful look.

Finally understanding, Teyla stood, "Right, I forgot we talked about that." Turning to the group at the table, "I promised to help John with something."

The two started walking out of the commissary when John turned around and shouted, "Radek I could use your help too."

"Oh... uh… sure" Radek stuttered nervously, scurrying from the table.

"Wow they sure weren't being subtle were they?" Ronon chuckled.

"No they weren't." Jen said, staring at Ronon. They probably figured we needed a little push, she thought. "Ronon, can I ask you something?"

"Sure," Ronon answered turning to face her.

"Not here," Grabbing his hands she pulled him out of the commissary and onto a secluded balcony overlooking the beautifully lit city. "Okay now we can talk."

"I think I know what you're going to say doc."

"You do?" she questioned, while a deep flush came across her face illuminated by the lights of the city.

She is so beautiful, thought Ronon. "I do," Looking into Jennifer's eyes he explained, "About what happened during the quarantine, it was not just a spur of the moment thing for me. After Melena, I am very serious about any relationship I start."

"Relationship?" Jen smiled warmly at Ronon.

"Yeah, so you want to come to my quarters and watch a movie with me?" he questioned. "I'm sure there's something you wouldn't mind seeing."

Jen walked up to Ronon, so they're faces were inches apart. "I'd like that a lot," she said smiling up at him.

"Good." Ronon smiled unlike anyone on Atlantis had ever seen. Jen thought her legs were going to give out any second, especially since Ronon was slowly lowering his lips to met hers in a kiss that expressed all his intentions.

"Wow"

"Yeah, wow," he grinned.

"Let's go watch that movie now," Jen said grabbing Ronon and pulling him down the hallway.

Following behind Ronon explained, "My thoughts exactly Jennifer." Listening to her laughter and scowling at the personnel watching a grown man being dragged down the hallway by a beautiful doctor. Reaching his quarters, Ronon let her inside stating, "You need to quit pulling me down the halls, people are going to start talking," with a hint of laughter in his voice.

"Oh yeah?" Jen questioned, wrapping her arms around his torso.

"Yeah," taking her mouth with his own.

The End!
