Chapter 1: The Legacy
The basics of wand-crafting is that you pick something from a magical living being as the core and put it inside a suitable container, mostly wood or metal. It is here that lies the most fundamental inconsistency in Wizard dogma: Wizards and Witches call themselves magical to point their superiority, however, no wand in the world had ever been crafted which contains anything from a Wizard as the core, because Humans are not a magical species. That is they were not until now.
Do you remember the certain Wizard's hair which when plunged inside polyjuice potion turned its colour sparkling gold? That hair could have been used as the core in a wand, because that Wizard was a mutation, the second truly magical Human.
Think about consequences of having that "magic" gene (made unstable through poor childhood and exposition to AK curse) further mutated through contamination with unicorn blood, Philosopher's stone dust, basilisk venom, phoenix tears, dementor's breath, dragon fire, gillyweed, elf teleportation, and soul magic, and the burden which the son who inherited that gene has to bear.
However, the legacy of Harry Potter was far more complex than just chromosome material. He had already noticed it during his time in Shell Cottage: how easily the things were clicking into place, how easily he understood the purpose in the movements of magic and the destiny they created. It was that first dawn after his long sleep after the Last Battle which was the start of life for Harry Potter. It was then that his magic sprang freely for the first time.
He had returned to Hogwarts for his seventh year. He had spent his time there having fun with Ginny Weasly and getting familiar with his magic. He had to re-learn how to be Wizard and go through the seven years again. This time doing magic was not simply directing natural flows with wand movements or runes, now he had ability to generate such flows himself, but while doing so he had to listen to the guidance of "the Universe chorus" to keep the level of entropic disturbance created by his actions to the minimum. He had decided to follow carefully its guidance in his studies and future life as a Wizard.
After the seventh year he had left with Ginny for a trip around the world which had lasted two years (which had created some noise with the Weasleys). Initially it had been planned that their trip would take only one year, but they had stumbled on Luna (who had disappeared with her father after the Last Battle) travelling with a guy named Rolf Scamander, which had provoked apparition of new voices in "the chorus" Harry could hear. What Harry heard usually was like the monolith chorus from the movie "2001: the Space Odyssey", but now in company of Luna Lovegood he was hearing "Bohemian Rhapsody".
When they had returned, Harry decided not to pursue with his initial idea about Auror Academy, instead he started spending time with Aberforth and Olivander. Giny managed to get a place on the Harpies' team after showing spectacular flying on a home-made broom (model Potter-29) during audition. After some time Harry bought the Olivander's and also got work at Saint Mungo's after showing credentials signed by Master Healer Dumbeldore.
After couple of years of professional quidditch and setting new records and lacking competition, Giny wanted to take on the next challenge, and they married. Harry wondered if any of his children would inherit his gift and if so, would they be strong enough to also take the legacy of the knowledge he had learned during his trip and what he had subsequently developed in his workshop at Olivander's.
