This is my entry for AmericanGecko's Minor Character Contest. Look up the other contest entries as well.

Disclaimer: Kim Possible and related are the property of Disney which, contrary to common belief, I do not own.

Kim still has a favor pending for someone who offered her a ride. And she has to pay that one off someday.

The favor that was owed.

They were dirty, all three of them.

Not just smudged, but real, original color no longer visible dirty.

One of his birds used to be white, but you couldn't tell that from the grayish color they all had now.

The problem was, the kids who used to clean them for a small fee had grown up and either demanded a pretty huge payment or they left for other, easier and better paying jobs.

It was not like he did not care for his birds; he always made sure they were in perfect condition, and most of their quirks he could fix himself. But keeping them clean on the outside was a really difficult job, and he was not getting any younger.

Stroking his short beard, he considered offering the cleaning job to a new bunch of kids in the neighborhood. But he immediately rejected that idea; the kids were too young to do it properly, and they would still ask a huge sum.

"What happened to proper old fashioned New-Zealand generous mentality?"

He had pretty much given up hope of getting his machines cleaned easily or at least relatively cheap, when he heard a news message on the radio.

"…And thanks to Team Possible a disaster was fended off…"

As the newsreader continued, a memory popped to the surface.

"Team Possible… that girl said she owed me a favor…" A small grin formed on his face; perhaps he could get the job done even better and certainly cheaper.

"Well, that went easy, don't you think?" Kim asked, but before Ron could answer, the Kimmunicator chimed.

Since Kim was still wearing the earphone she had been using during their mission, Ron could only hear his girlfriend's side of the conversation.

"What's the sitch Wade? …Sure, put him through… How can I help you… but, I meant that for a mission… yes, of course that's also a 'favor', but… ok, I'll see what we can do…"

Ron had seen Kim's expression go from curious to crestfallen to a look of 'Mrs. Hatchet's got another library lock-down ready for me' and he was very curious about what had caused this change.

He didn't have to wait long though. "It seems we have another mission before we can go home."

With a grin on his face, Herman Huey watched from the window of his air-conditioned office as the two teens worked hard to clean his helicopters.

He opened the window slightly so not to let too much cool air out. "Don't forget to thoroughly wash the topside, the sand and exhaust gasses always make a big mess there!"

The redheaded girl shot the blond haired boy a glare before shoving the sponge back in the bucket with water and continuing cleaning the helicopter.

"That'll teach them to try to rip me off."

Herman chuckled as he closed the window again and sat down in his desk chair with his feet propped up on his desk; life didn't hand the best cards every time, but when you got them, life was good.

A/N: Ever since watching the episode 'And the Molerat will be CGI' I wanted to have an ending like this story, and with the contest I finally got around to actually writing it.

Reviews are always appreciated, and don't forget to check out the other entries to the contest (only one other at the moment, but we're hoping for more).
