Cato POV:
I'm calling after Clove. I keepcalling but I don't hear a response. She wentr after 12 at the cornucopia. I know she's in trouble. She has to be. but then I hear something
" Cato! Cato! Cat.." It stops. I run as fast as my legs can take me. I see her in a pool of blood. Her blood. It's rushing out of the back of her head. I know she's not gonna make it though.
" You're okay Clove. Don't wory. We'll both make it out." I tell her
" Cato, I know I won't." she replies. "But you will."
" But Clov.."
" No Cato. You WILL win. For me"
"Clove I..I...I..I can't. not without you." I say. She lifts her weak head as far as she can and kisses me on my lips.
" Yes you can. I love you Cato" I don't know how to respond, but from that moment, I know I really, trully love her.
" I love you. You'll always be my Clove. My life. My Amore Mio" I tell her, knowing she isn't there anymore. I gntly kiss her on her forehead and I carry her to a grassy spot in the sun and tell her one last thing
" I love you Clove. I will win. For you my love" And with that, I leave her there and I go to a shaded area to watch her until the hovercraft comes to pick her up. I don't think I've ever cried, before, in my life. But now I have. I've cried for my Clove. Only 16 years of lifee she had and now she can't live to be a hundred. She can't have kids and a loving husband. She can't be here on earth anymore. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe she dosn't deserve a life on this horrid planet any longer. I do my last duty and get my revenge. On eleven.
