Disclaimer--I own nothing. i'm just playing dress up with the dolls......
Author's Note- This will be ongoing, but a very slow going. I have to research Buffy and Silmarillion history. Very long and tedious. There aren't many sites that put it in plain English when it comes to the LOTR stuff. if you know any good history sites, please tell me and I will be forever in your debt.
What Is And What Should Never Be
Summary- One of the first vampire slayers in Middle Earth is an elf. She just happens to be Elrond and Elros' older sister.
This is her story. The mistakes she made, the friends she lost, and the evil that she never truly destroyed.
This is why she was forgotten.
In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against
the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.
That prophecy isn't all that true. Well, at least in my case. Mostly.
My parents called me Laithiel. Joyful daughter. They said when I was born, I laughed and smiled at the people around me. I hardly ever cried. When I was young, I was full of love and laughter. I loved my parents. I loved my brothers.
Notice how this is all in the past tense.
I still love my parents. I still love my brothers. Now, though, it sits in the back of my mind. I rarely think about my parents now. I wonder what they would think of the life I led? What don't they know about their world?
Sometimes I don't want to know the answers. I don't cry more then I used to when I was a child. I hold love for people that don't know I exist anymore. Any laugh that comes out of me now is harsh and bitter. I've tried to escape my life many times, but I was bound to this fate until my enemy is vanquished.
Even when it was destroyed, my life isn't what it could be. Mostly because I don't have a life.
I will tell you my story, my life. I will tell you what I did, and why no one knows about it. This is true darkness: being out in the sun, surrounded by people, and being alone with the knowledge that not everything is as it seems.
I will update by the end of the week. If you know any good history sites for either Buffy or LOTR, I am on my knees and begging for help. Thanks, ya?
