I own nothing but my OC's!
Here's a onesot about our boy Dean!
A shattering sound wakes Dean from his slumber. His eyes glace around the room, then to his girlfriend, Amaris, snuggled up close to his side. A shuffling sound causes Dean to finally sit up slowly, as to not wake Amaris, and grabs his gun from the drawer in bedside table and makes his way to the door.
He glances around into the hallway. It's empty, he quickly steps to the next door and peaks in to see if his son, Ian, was alright. It creaks slightly as it opens, to an empty room. Dean's breath leaves him, and his heart rate spikes. Dean frantically searches the room, for any sign of Ian, only for there to be none.
Emerging from his son's room he runs to the next, throwing that door open. He flicks the lights on to an also empty bathroom. Dean's breathing is now coming in short bursts while running down the hall into the living room. The room is undisturbed, with only the table side lamp on, Dean's eyes move to every corner of the room.
Dean holds up his gun as another sound from the kitchen to his left. He jumps into the door way, gun raised and ready, only to see Ian running his hands along the kitchen counter by the sink.
Dean breathes out a sigh of relief and drops his arms, glad to know it was only his son sleep walking.
Dean places his gun on the counter, watching as Ian takes a step back coming to close to the broken glass scattered across the tiles, from a cup he had knocked off the counter earlier. Dean quickly steps in and grabs the boy under his arms and pulls him up and swings his around to stand again facing the door way.
Ian starts to walk again, his father close behind him to guide him back to his room. Once there Ian takes no time sliding back into his bed, and Dean covers him up and ruffles his hair lightly. He leaves his door cracked slightly and walks back to the kitchen to clean up the glass. Dumping the fragments into the trash, and picking up his gun he tiredly scuffles back to his room, the adrenaline from before now quickly diminishing and leaving him tired as can be.
Dean leaves his door open an inch then sets his gun back in its place in the bedside table drawer. He grunts as he lays back and lets out a long sigh, slowly relaxing.
"What was it?" Dean jumps and lightly cusses while running a hand through his hair. He looks to his girlfriend in annoyance. "Don't DO that, Amaris." She quietly laughs and scoots closer to wrap an arm around him.
"Sorry babe" She places a kiss on his chest. Her lover's arm wraps itself around Amaris and pulls her close. "So, what was the sound?" She asks again and rest against his chest.
"Just Ian sleep walking again." Dean mumbles starting to nod off. "Now go back to sleep, I don't need anymore scares tonight."
Amaris giggles with a smile and closes her eyes listening to her boyfriends breathing slow, and his heartbeat lulls her back into her dreams.
