A Sam/Andy fic.
...
Disclaimer: Nope, don't own Rookie Blue. It sucks, I know ... but I'll live. Maybe.
...
A/N: Okay ... I was going to go to bed, but the idea for this fic hit me as soon as I pulled the covers over, and then I literally jumped out of my bed to grab my laptop.
So ... here we are.
Just a short fic about how Sam thinks Andy is 'beautiful'.
I hope you guys like this, I know I'll love writing it.
As always, please read and review, I live for feedback!

Beautiful. It was a word that wasn't used enough. But maybe that was because things were seldom 'beautiful' anymore. Now it was all about what was "cool, hot, sweet, awesome", and so forth.
His grandfather had once told him that if he found a girl who was truly beautiful - inside and out - that being with her would make him truly happy. When he was a kid, he'd wondered what that meant. 'Inside and out'? How could someone be beautiful on the inside? He hadn't known the specifics yet, but he was pretty sure that the insides of people were gross. Not at all appealing.
It wasn't until he was older that he understood what his grandfather had meant. He didn't expect it to happen, though. He though that someday - maybe - he'd meet a girl who could tolerate being a cop's wife, and who didn't drive him insane, and that would be enough.
And then he'd met her. Even when he'd nearly hated her for blowing his cover, he'd been unable to deny her beauty. She was truly spectacular.
But it wasn't until he'd gotten to know her, seen what was 'inside' of her, that he realized she was beautiful - in every sense of the word - both inside and out. She was caring, and honest, and pure. She was energetic and enthusiastic about her job, and she loved helping people who couldn't help themselves. She was an eternal optimist, despite some of the things that she'd been through.
While he'd first been attracted to her outer beauty, he found himself falling in love with her inner beauty. Sure, sometimes he made a joke about how she went out of her way to do 'good' to others ... but it was just his way of masking how much he loved that about her.
He would be patient, he would wait until they didn't have to sneak around - he didn't want their relationship to be based on lies.
Because there were very few true beauties in the world, and he'd found his. He wasn't going to do anything to spoil it, not if he could help it.

The end.
Well, what did you guys think?
Lol, as I said ... short. I'm really trying to break this cycle, I mean it. I'll get some longer ones out soon.
Reviews are appreciated, flame if you must, but constructive criticism is much more useful.
Until next time ...!
