A whole new world
Kurt and Blaine were best friends, have been since Middle school, however they haven't always seen eye to eye. On the few rare occasions that they argued they generally stopped being friends for about 3 days but never longer than a week. The strong bond they shared always outweighed their minor arguments.
The first time they spoke to each other was in Kindergarten and let's just say Blaine wasn't the friendliest child.
Kurt walked into school with his back-pack secured over one shoulder. Kurt was a very timid little boy, wouldn't talk to anybody besides his family, therefore his first day wasn't the most interesting. He walked over to the art table because that's where all the little boys were currently sat. He sat down next to a dark haired boy, his curls bouncing freely. Everything told Kurt he didn't belong and maybe that's because his hair was neatly styled and the others hair looked like bed head if Kurt was honest, which of course he was he just never voiced his opinion. The curly haired boy turned to face Kurt with that mischievous toddler look, and in one swift movement completely ruined Kurt's attire with bright red paint. Although Kurt could pull off any look, he certainly wasn't happy that his pale blue dress-shirt was stained for good.
Kurt never spoke to anyone that day and from that day forwards, he hung out with the girls. Yes he got teased because, at that age, girls were the worst creature living on the planet. The boys may not have accepted Kurt but the girls sure loved having a prince in their princess games.
Kurt never spoke to Blaine during Kindergarten, not one word.
…
Kurt was hoping to never see Blaine again however he was graced with Blaine's presence in Middle school. This time around Kurt had become more masculine. On his first day of Middle school Kurt wore Dark denim jeans, a black polo shirt and a light grey hoodie. Due to registration order Kurt never sat next to Blaine, well, until the first paired assignment of the year.
"Ok class listen up"
Everyone turned to face Mrs Rodgers.
"Over the next week you and your assigned partner will have to work on a Maths paper. I will assign your partners and then you can discuss the topic. Ok, Mercedes and John, Peter and Elizabeth, Carol and George" and the list went on until "Unfortunately there is one extra boy in the class so Kurt will be paired with Blaine. OK meet your partner and discuss how you'll work together on it"
Kurt's worst nightmare had just come true, he was about to come face to face with Blaine and he had to uphold a conversation with him. Will Blaine actually recognise him? Will the teasing continue?
