A/N: Well this is just a random poem I found in my old documents folder and it wouldn't hurt to post it on here cause I got nothing else to do at the moment. I greatly apologize for the grammatical errors but I decided to not edit anything, simply because I want to cherish my past work the way it is. Well then, may this be the end of the author's notes.

"Bel, I made a poem for you." A green haired male said while clearing his throat to read the crumpled piece of paper.

Remember our days back in the Varia?
Back when you would stab me everyday,
I would pull out your knives and bend them,
You would call me a stupid frog,
And I would call you a Fake-Prince,
Little did I suspect, you were the opposite of that...

Back when we would go to missions together,
You were the best partner I ever had,
You would slice them and rip them to pieces,
While I stand by and wait for you,
You would return covered in blood,
And smiling that creepy smile of yours,
Followed by that insane laugh that I loved...
I still do...

Back when we would prank everyone,
Like replacing Squalo's shampoo with pink hair dye
or when we would run around with blood on our shoes just to make Lussuria mad,
We would make nicknames for all of us,
Like we would call Lussuria, "Gaylord",
or Levi, "Sea Urchin"

Back when you would tell me you loved me,
We decided that both of us should share rooms,

And so we did...

Later we became a couple,
And we shared our first kiss,
We would go on dates,
And even eat ice cream when it's really cold...

But that was nothing compared to my birthday,
We were in our room after the surprise party,
We were sitting on the bed,
Then you suddenly got down on one knee and proposed to me,
I was hesitant at first,
Thinking that you still loved Mammon more than me,
But when I lifted your blonde bangs,
I saw that you were telling the truth,
It was like the first time I saw those lovely blue eyes of yours,
So I said yes...
We were so happy that we made the wedding day 3 days after you proposed...

But the memory that stood out in my mind,
Was the time when you told me to wait,
In our big room while you went on a mission,
"I'll be back, Froggy.." you said,
With that stupid smile on your face,
But you never did...
And never will...

I'll never hear that laugh,
nor see that smile that you owned,
The wounds that I had,
Because of those knives of yours,
Are now gone,
And never will reopen...

I miss those days we shared...
Back when I was your Frog,
And you were my Prince..

Salty tears ran down the boy's face as he recalled his painful past. He neatly folded the piece of paper and took out a single red rose. He placed it on the hard, gray stone, muttering an 'I love you' before walking away, his thoughts filled of the day he finally reunites with his beloved.
