Heiji and Kazuha were in Tokyo for the weekend, just for a visit. And that's really all it was, a visit, not an excuse to help Conan with a case or anything, there actually weren't any cases, come to think of it, and yet, something still had Conan pretty scared.

Like most 'children', Conan experienced night frights, but unlike other 'children', Conan's nightmares were graphic, and down-right disturbing. So disturbing in fact, it had the detective screaming in his sleep at three in the morning.

"AHH!" Conan screamed, waking up everyone in the house.

"SHUT UP, BRAT!" Detective Moore yelled, throwing a pillow at the child.

"Conan, Conan, what's wrong!" Ran exclaimed as she and Kazuha tore from their room and to the guys room. But, Conan continued to scream, too tied down in his dream.

"Conan!" Ran shook the boy lightly, in hopes of waking him. And that's when the weirdest thing happened. Ran's hands were pulled away from the shrunken detective, Heiji smirking as he did so.

"Don't shake the kid, Ran, you'll only hurt his head." Heiji yawned as he spoke, taking the smaller boy into his arms.

"Shh, Conan, it was only a dream, sleep now." The teen spoke soothingly, rocking him back and forth. Conan stopped screaming, but was still tense.

"Shh, you're safe, you're okay, it was only a dream." Heiji assured, watching the smaller boy calm down, and lay, completely relaxed now.

"Wow, Heiji, that was impressive." Kazuha commented as her friend tucked Conan in.

"No one else hears of this, and for the record, it's just because I want to get back to bed."

"Good night then, aho." Kazuha smirked, leaving the room.

The Next morning:

"Hey, Heiji."

"What up, Kudo."

"I had the weirdest dream last night, you were in it."

"Oh really, what happened in it?"

"You were my mom, I think."

"Go to bed, Kudo."

"But it's 10:30 am."

"GO TO BED!"
