My life discriminated by others

Only because I am not a man

My work and presence

Constantly challenged

Because I am a woman

Me, an educated individual

Yes, I'm young and foolish

But where are my rights?

Nowhere here

Because I am a woman

I spend my days

Examining the dead

I do my job as a doctor

But why am I questioned?

Because I am a woman

A beautiful woman

Who shares the same cause as I

Must have a secret love

Why must we hide?

Because we are women

Some live in fear

Some live in ignorance

But they all live

Without rights

Because they are women
