What Will We Tell The Kids?

a/n: I do not own Gundam Wing. This is a little side story to my previous fic "Misomeru". A reviewer named Shenny poked me with a stick, and out popped this little ditty. It is not long though, be warned.
"How did you and Daddy meet?"
Heero Maxwell-Yuy looked at his eight-year-old daughter, Remy Takara, and sighed. He took off his reading glasses and set them down on the end table.
"You want to know how we met?" Heero just wanted to confirm that he had heard his daughter correctly.
"Yep! See, Cheri's Mommy and Daddy met in a coffee shop; and Christian's Mommy and Daddy met at the beach! And I know you are Daddy and Dad, not Mommy and Daddy, but where did you guys meet?" Remy bounced up and down, adorable with her long blond hair in twin braids. Her hazel eyes blinked wide and she smiled that heart-melting smile she smiled when she knew she was going to get what she wanted.
"Remy, did you know that Daddy was a model?" the shake of her head told him no, "Daddy was a model for my art class in college. One day I drew a picture of him, and we got to be really good friends in a very short period of time. That is how Daddy and I met," Heero was proud of his answer. No lies, just a little twist on the truth.
"When did you know you loved Daddy?" Remy climbed into his lap and got comfortable.
"Two days. I knew I loved him two days after I met him," Heero thought fondly of that time in his life. They had been so young…
"And when did you have s-e-x with Daddy?" Remy asked, pulling on one of her braids. Heero almost dropped his daughter, but recovered smoothly.
"Remy Takara Maxwell-Yuy! That is none of your business!" Heero chided his daughter and her lower lip came out.
"Sorry Dad," Remy sighed and climbed out of his lap. Heero rubbed his temples as she picked up a book off the floor.
"It's okay Remy. Maybe when you are older I will tell you more. But right now, that is between Daddy and I, okay?" Heero did not want his daughter to be sad, but he was not prepared for that line of questioning.
"'Kay Dad. I'm going to go read now," and then Remy was running down the hallway.
"Nicely handled!" Duo almost clapped as he came in the room, handing Heero a cup of coffee.
"I am not ready for the birds and the bees Duo. Not ready at all!" Heero shook his head vigorously.
"Ah, just wait until they are adults and they connect all the dots!" Duo laughed and avoided a playful swat as he walked back out of the room.
