"Success!" With a satisfied smile Don clicked away the pop-up screen, pressed a key combination to save his work and leaned back a bit. For the past few days he was busy writing a program to improve the lair's security system and finally it worked flawlessly. All he had to do now was doing a test run, but he would postpone it till tomorrow. For now he just wanted to finish up some other work and wait for his brothers to come home. He knew Leo went to April to help her with her with some ninjutsu moves since she asked him. Raph was with Casey, probably doing something illegal and Mikey was doing some groceries, so he probably would show up anytime soon to disrupt the peaceful silence. But Don wouldn't mind. He liked the presence of his brothers, especially Mikey. He could be extremely annoying from time to time, but Don wouldn't have it any other way. He saved his work one more time, just to be sure, before he closed the programming software. At that moment he heard the door of the lair open and the typical light footsteps of his youngest brother. With a slight smile he shoved his chair back and stood up. "Hey, Mike," he called while walking out of his lab. "How was your -" His voice trailed off when he took a look at his brother. Mike was standing in front of the lair entrance, his human clothes soaking wet.

"Did you swim home?" Don asked teasingly as he walked to his brother to take over the grocery bags. Mike chuckled. "Haha, I wish." A shiver ran down his spine. "But apparently the weather didn't like me today. It's as cold as ice and it's raining so hard, bro!" He trew up his arms frustratingly, causing freezing water drops to fly all over.

"Jeez, Mike. Couldn't you shelter somewhere?" Don put the bags on the coffee table. Mike shrugged and sniffled a bit. "I was already wet, so I didn't think it was necessary." He looked down and saw a puddle of water forming at his feet. "Oops," he mumbled. Don shook his head disapproving. "C'mon, bro. Take off those wet clothes before you catch a cold," he said gently, while Mike shivered again. "Sure thing, dude," Mike said and started to take off his jacket. "Oh, and can you put the ice cream in the freezer, please?" An innocent smile appeared on his face when Don frowned. "You're thinking of ice cream when you're shivering from the cold?"

"Hey! When I'm uncomfortable having it cold, the ice cream is uncomfortable when it's melting. I'm just concerned, bro. It's not like it's the ice cream's fault!" His brother cried out while his jacket fell on the ground with a wettish splash. Soon his large sweatpants followed.

"Alright, alright. I'll take care of it." Don grabbed the grocery bags again. "But you are gonna take care of yourself. Go take a warm shower and only come out when you're totally warmed up." He turned on his heels and walked to the kitchen.

"That sounds nice." Mike kicked his clothes in a corner and walked after Don who was already in the kitchen. He peeped his head around the doorway and watched Don put the ice cream in the freezer, like he asked. "Hey, Donnie…" Mike started. Don looked up and sighed. "I thought I sent you to the shower."

"I know, and I will, but…" He paused and waited until Don looked at him expectantly. "Can you make warm chocolate milk?" He finished and a hopeful grin crossed his face while his teeth softly chattered. Don chuckled. "I will, but only if you're going to the shower right now!" He pointed to the bathroom to give his words a little bit more strength.

"You're the best bro, bro!" Mike called happily and he practically ran off, leaving a smiling Don in his wake.
